Attention all Miners, 419'ers, Astronauts on their way to the International Space Station, SEAL Team Six Members,
and Oil Platform Workers. I'd like to accommodate your needs however the timeframe to complete the sale is clear
and simple. Read and follow directions.
Don't you love the stories, or how many guys were SEAL's?!?!? I don't know we had so many!!!... Lol
The 1970 Torino was designed by Bill Schenk. His design was inspired by the supersonic aircrafts of the day that
were designed and built with a narrow waist and bulging forward and rear fuselage that was needed to reach
supersonic speeds.
This 1970 Torino is a numbers matching vehicle with the original 351 Cleveland. The VIN, Fender Tag, and Engine
Block all uniform and matching.
Yes, you are looking at THE original engine. Ask any car guy what it takes (labor hours and money) to make a
nearly half century old original engine compartment look like that... Not only does it look pretty, but it's
basically a new engine. The engine was broken down piece by piece and put back together better than it was on the
day it was delivered from Cleveland. The Cleveland was the upgrade to the 351 Windsor.
When you turn the key it sounds amazing! The dual exhaust sounds AWESOME! It has a deep, but not an obnoxious
rumble.
As far as the body is concerned... It's straighter now than in the day it was sold in 1970-71. Experienced car
guys will tell you that when these rolled down the assembly line there wasn't time for them to line up every panel
perfect, so gaps and misalignments were common. The time was taken to correct those gaps, and Steele Rubber

How Ford plans to handle insurance and repair questions surrounding new aluminum-bodied F-150
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Building a car out of aluminum has a number of benefits - the lighter weight allows the vehicle to be more agile, more fuel efficient, make better use of its power and be more resistant to dings and dents. The downside to the advanced construction, though, is that repairs are both challenging and expensive. That's troubling for the new, aluminum-bodied Ford F-150, because it's kind of made a name for itself as a rugged, durable work vehicle.
How will the legions of Ford buyers cope when it comes time to insure and repair their new trucks? Well, according to Ford, it's expecting a ten-percent jump in insurance costs for the aluminum-bodied F-150, although Ford's truck marketing manager, Doug Scott, was quick to point out that the F-150 is generally cheaper to insure than its competition from Ram and General Motors. "At the end of the day, that's sort of a wash," Scott told Automotive News at last week's Detroit Auto Show. "We've spent a lot of time and feel very comfortable that that's not going to be an inhibitor."
The other issue facing Ford is the distinct lack of body shops that have the training or equipment to repair aluminum-bodied vehicles. AN cites an estimate from the Automotive Service Association claiming that of the 30,000 independent body shops in the US, less than 10 percent are able to work on aluminum.
Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
Ford reveals new rapid prototyping and low-volume production techniques [w/video]
Mon, 08 Jul 2013It's called "F3T," and that stands for Ford Free-form Fabrication Technology. The process that The Blue Oval has developed means being able to sidestep the weeks-long process of tool-and-die making when engineers want to construct a new part, allowing them to fabricate a three-dimensional part from a two-dimensional sheet of metal in just hours.
While F3T is being developed it is limited to "low-volume prototyping or even low-volume niche vehicles," but the next step is to evaluate it for use in Ford's global manufacturing facilities. You can find out more about it in the video and the press release below.
