1957 Ford Thunderbird: Excellent Driving Condition - Older Restoration, Rebuilt Engine with less than 7000 miles, all other drivetrain and steering refurbished and less than 10,000 miles on all. No dents, rust or other issues - just an older paint job but still in great shape. Was my Fathers (past Chicagoland T Bird club Pres.) car since purchased in California in the mid 70's. Shown Nationally until his passing in 1987 - Consistent Trophy Winner. Since then, very little use and garaged in heated garage. Both Tops and all original. C Code Bird. Needs to be cosmetically refreshed to be perfect. Excellent car and hate to see it go but time to let someone else enjoy it. Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."
