Up for sale is a beautiful 2003 Thunderbird white exterior and full accent black/red interior and white hardtop with stand and cover. Car has matching seat covers to protect the seats that are in perfect condition. Has heated seats, red caliper covers with thunderbird script & logo that sets the chrome wheels off perfectly. I have aftermarket floor mats, trunk mat and mat for shelf behind seats also comes with the original floor mats and top cover for when the convertible top is down. This convertible only has 32,500 miles that will increase slightly as I use for Sunday drives. Only noticeable flaw is paint scratches on bottom of front bumper an easy fix. I will not accept anything less then my starting bid so please don't ask. Car is garaged kept and under a cover at all times. I use synthetic oil with Z Max and 360 fuel stabilizer. I had the transmission flush done at the Ford dealer only because of age and car has cooper touring tires with only about 1,500 miles.You can contact me with any questions at 803-984-6300. Shelby American cleans house of 14 concept cars
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
