Has an exceptional running 429-4V Thunderjet engine with C6 trans, power steering, brakes, power windows, seats and AC all work, has a great sounding flow master dual exhaust that really turns heads and its all new! Magnum 500s are in exceptional condition and the tires are brand new, this car is ready to show or cruise, no expense was spared on the repaint which was redone exactly to the correct Ford color code of E for light blue extremely rare color! Has the bench seat with folding arm rest in the center the interior is very elegant and in very good condition for the age! carpet and headliner are new, the vinyl top is exceptional with absolutley NO bubbling, all the chrome is excellent with the exception of one small ding on the passenger side rear wheel well molding, all the lights and options work, this car runs and drives exceptional, Thunderbird. Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
Ford looks to space robots to improve car-to-car communications [w/video]
Wed, 21 Aug 2013Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth.
The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud. Benefits would come in just about every area of transit, from avoiding accidents, to getting medical workers to an accident more quickly, to improving the flow of traffic during rush hour.

Ford bringing adaptive steering to the masses [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014Within the next year, Ford will offer a brand-new adaptive steering system (unimaginatively dubbed "Ford Adaptive Steering"), and this week, the automaker invited us out to its proving grounds in Dearborn, MI to get a taste for how its new setup works. In function, Ford's system doesn't greatly differ from the majority of other adaptive steering units already on the market from companies like Audi or BMW, but consider this: Ford will be the first non-luxury automaker to offer this technology, and uniquely, the whole system fits inside the car's steering wheel.
Ford's engineers have worked hard to create a system that can be tacked on to the company's full lineup of cars, trucks and utility vehicles, and says that the adaptive steering will be uniquely tuned for each specific vehicle. The automaker will not confirm exactly which vehicle will launch with this technology, but for the purpose of our preview, we tested the technology in a 2014 Fusion - a vehicle with already-good behind-the-wheel feel, one that the company says best demonstrates its current steering efforts.
