RELISTED DUE TO ERRORS IN LISTING. I was informed by a fellow Ebayer that this car was a 1960 model and not a 1958. After looking through several Tbird sites, it looks like he was right…so I ended the previous auction and relisted. There was also an error in the location--it is located in Woodbridge/Manassas, VA--sorry for inconvenience in the previous listing.
Found this in an old lot, havent even brought it home yet. 1958 Ford Tbird in pretty good condition. The interior is as shown but even better than the pics. The body is in good shape but the right side has been hit--not bad but will take a little time to fix the right way. Should be able to use the existing parts, just rebend/form and you should be good to go. Engine is complete and supposedly ran when parked. It is now missing the carb and air breather though. The glass is decent as the front is cracked a little bit and both door windows have cracks. These are the only pics available. Automatic, power windows!, and the interior is intact that I can tell--will need reupholstered but in very good condition for its age. Low reserve--come and get it!

Formula Drift kicks off 11th season on Streets of Long Beach
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The 2014 Formula Drift series kicked off last weekend in Long Beach, and saw Chris Forsberg, who you'll recall went mad and drifted around a warehouse in an Infiniti M, take the title behind the wheel of his Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z (shown above).
Forsberg really ran away with the first round of competition, outscoring his closest opponent, second-place finisher Kenneth Moen and his Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, by 20 points. Third place was 2013 championship winner Michael Essa and his Yokohama BMW M3, 30.5 points behind Forsberg.
In the manufacturers' title, Nissan took an early lead with 122 points, which isn't a huge surprise considering five of the top ten drifters were piloting either a Z or a product of the brand's S platform. Ford, which had two drivers (Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin, Jr.) in the top ten, took home second place, while BMW is currently third in the manufacturers' standings.

On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.
