1960 Ford Thunderbird Convertible needs total restoration, in my possession since June of 1998. The engine has not been run for about 10 yrs., son and I started restoring and got involved in a different project. We had the top working at that time, all components are there but doubt if works anymore. Has complete drive train, I am guessing motor is locked. Has excellent bumpers which came off of my own driver, I had another set re-chromed and am using now. Needs right rear quarter bottom from door to rear, needs right rocker, needs little work on left rear, not real bad. Front windshield and side windows good, the chrome where top comes down in good shape, top latches good shape. all interior needs replaced but have all seats and all interior parts. Tried to take pictures of every thing, hood is inside my shed, most everything has been stored inside from when we took it apart. Needs lot but I think it is well worth restoring. Front piece of front clip needs replaced but have that piece from another t-bird to go with it. I have tons of other t-bird parts. Good luck. Will help load it. Will not be responsible for shipping, it does roll. $500 down payment, rest to be paid when picked up. Must rec down payment within 48 hrs.

2014 Ford Cobra Jet announced with new colors, parachute mount
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Ford's drag-strip-ready Mustang Cobra Jet is back for 2014, and it's sporting a few changes to make it even better - both in competition and while sitting still. Rolling off the assembly line ready for duty in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes, production of the 2014 Cobra Jet is limited to just 50 units.
Racing upgrades for 2014 include the addition of a new three-speed transmission and a parachute mount, and while these will make the car better in the quarter mile, the Cobra Jet's new colors will make it look better tearing down the track. Buyers can now get their racecars painted up in Gotta Have-It Green or a custom, Cobra Jet-exclusive matte black hue. Ford and Ford Racing have already teamed up to make this an incredible factory drag racer with a full rollcage, massive Hoosier slicks, a race-tuned suspension setup and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Now, if only wheelie bars came standard...
Unlike the confusing third-party ordering system announced for the COPO Camaro, all you need to snatch up a 2014 Cobra Jet is $97,990 and good timing (as the cars will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis). Ordering opens up next month with production commencing in July. Check out the press release below.

Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing
Wed, Feb 4 2015Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
