Let me start out by saying that this car belongs to a very good friend of mine, who is unable to handle the sell of the car so i am handling the selling process for him. The car is a 1957 thunderbird, factory raven black car, the car was factory black and white interior but the interior was changed to red. The car was just recently finished from where it underwent a full restoration and has less then 50 miles on it. The car is laser straight and looks amazing. All of the interior is brand new with the exception of the inserts on the dash which are the original ones for the car. When the car was built it was built with the intention of driving. The motor in the car is the original one for the car, and is a 312 Y Block, but the carb has been changed to one that is a little bit easier to tune. The transmission is not the original one for the car, the car came factory with a 3 speed standard shift, but during restoration the car was changed to a 4 speed, to make it easier to drive. Now if your looking for a trailer queen, well i can say that this one is certainly not for you, and it certainly doesnt have one of those crazy prices either. This car is a great driver that you can get in and enjoy right now. If your looking for one that you can get in pretty good and do a little detail work on to make it as close to trailer queen but still enjoy, then this car could be for you. The car still has its factory front and rear bumpers, now from a quick look they look great, but when you get close you can pick them for just minor things. The car could use a little more detail work under the hood, like the factory breather, and the manifolds painted, little stuff like that which would give you a little bit better chance of getting that best of show trophy. Like i said this car was built to drive, not a trailer queen. The car has the factory hardtop, and does not have a soft top, but it does have a quick cover that is behind the seat and snaps in real quick if you get caught out in the rain or something. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off if sold. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangments are made for the car to be shipped. If you have any questions about the car please fill free to ask and i will gladly answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks and God Bless Kody 251-454-5455

Ford spotted testing new Focus RS at the Nurburgring
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford is expected to be launching a revised version of the Focus ST soon, but the latest snapshots from our spy photographers at the Nürburgring suggest that the Blue Oval is already working on an even more potent example: the new Focus RS.
Though the partially disguised test mule is wearing an ST badge (along with a Dewey sticker that makes us wonder what adventures Huey and Louie are up to and what manner of duck-tail rear spoiler they may be wearing), there are several tell-tale signs that something else is afoot here. There's a larger front air dam, bigger brake calipers, dual exhaust tips (instead of the central exhaust on the ST) and a reshaped wing protruding from the trailing edge of the roof.
That may all be well and fine, but what's under the hood? We don't know yet for sure, but word has it that Ford is preparing to port over the 2.3-liter turbo four offered in the new Mustang, where it packs 305 horsepower and almost as much torque - potentially retuned to produce even more for the top-of-the-line Focus, which could channel it all to the front wheels like the last model or pack an all-wheel drive system. The Global C platform on which the Focus is based does, after all, also underpin AWD models like the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC.
Ford readying three-row Edge for China
Fri, Nov 21 2014The next-generation Ford Edge will be available with quite a growth spurt for its debut in China next year, with newly announced plans also to build and sell a three-row version exclusively in the People's Republic. However, markets outside of there likely won't see the larger model. Ford marketing boss (and future head of Ford of Europe) Jim Farley announced the three-row version of the crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show, according to Automotive News. To create the extra room, Ford made the Chinese-built variant about 16 inches longer than its two-row counterpart. Farley didn't specify at which of the Blue Oval's plants in the country this model would be assembled. The Explorer and forthcoming Everest already offer three rows from the Ford lineup in China, but the company thinks the market can easily support all of them. According to Farley to Automotive News, the utility segment is up 485 percent in the country since 2008. Customers in the US can still look forward to the two-row Edge hitting dealers early next year. It'll be the first model in the Blue Oval's lineup here to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Ford board pushing Mulally for decision amidst fears story is drowning out other news
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Automakers and their executives rarely like to divulge information regarding future goings on, but the board of directors at Ford sound like they're getting a little antsy about chief executive officer Alan Mulally and his plans for 2014.
According to Reuters, as news of Mulally's possible departure to Microsoft continues to swirl, Ford's board is looking to push the affable executive to make a decision about his future sooner rather than later. Apparently, the board is growing concerned that this will-he/won't-he drama may end up distracting the media from covering Ford's other big news events next year - items like the debut of key all-new products like the Mustang and F-150.
So far, the picture for Mulally's eventual successor remains fuzzy, but it's understood that the leading candidate remains the company's chief operating officer, Mark Fields. Just recently, we heard that Mulally will stay until the end of 2014, but a few months ago, Ford seemed open to the idea of him stepping down earlier than that.
