This Taurus runs, drives, and looks excellent. ( I personally like the color ) It has low mileage and the shocks, brakes, tires and muffler have just been replaced. This car needs nothing. All of the options work as they should. I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car like this one. No exceptions. I've been in the car business for 39 years. I've been on Ebay for over 10 years, so now I buy them one at a time, use them and check them out meticulously. There are no scratches or dents. The exterior paint is like new and the interior has no worn areas. If you are looking for a car in this price range, I don't think you will find a nicer one. NACTOY announces top nine finalists for Car, Truck and Utility of the Year
Thu, Nov 16 2023Finalists for the 2024 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards were announced at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. This whittles the field down to nine vehicles in total, with the winners scheduled to be announced on January 4, 2024. The finalists in their respective categories: Car category: Honda Accord, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Toyota Prius Truck category: Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Ford Super Duty Utility category: Genesis Electrified GV70, Kia EV9, Volvo EX30 These nine cars were chosen from a list of 25, which was previously narrowed down from a list of 52 eligible vehicles. Notable misses include the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, Toyota GR Corolla, GMC Canyon, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Grand Highlander, among others. Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike.
