This vehicle has been maintained since I purchased it as the second owner. That includes regular oil changes (every 5000 miles max.), tire replacements, wheels aligned, and struts. Hoses, tune-up, transmission fluid changed as factory recommended. This car has been garaged for a year, taken out monthly to be driven for two days, then back into the garage. Regular hand waxes have maintained the finish.
Two years back a pickup truck backed into the front end. Hood was replaced. The repairs was done properly, color match looks great. There is a hum at highway speeds of 80mph. I have had two mechanics check for any mechanical issues and there are none.
Struts, battery and 70,000 mile rated tires were purchased about a year ago and are fresh with little mileage. Overall, the body is in great condition for its age. The front bumper shows spider cracking, the rear bumper has scratches. Pictures will show the detail. The side panels, hood, trunk lid are all in good condition.
This car will be reliable transportation for the purchaser.

Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow
Wed, Mar 16 2016Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
Mercury rises around sexy Cougar pack
Sat, May 30 2015With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Ford moving medium-duty F-Series production from Mexico to Ohio

A few more Ford trucks will be built in the US in the near future with news that production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks will move from Mexico to Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, OH. Ford hasn't confirmed a precise timeline for the move, but The Detroit News claims the Blue Oval will make the shift later this year or in early 2015.
As Ford spokesperson Mike Levine reminded us, back in 2011, Ford announced in an investor release that it would shift production "after the [Ohio] plant stops current production of the Ford E-Series vans." According to that release, the Ohio factory will also receive $128 million in upgrades to build the new trucks, plus the F53 motorhome chassis and F59 commercial chassis.
