I'am selling my FORD TAURUS 2010 with only 27,101 miles. My wife really liked this car when she first saw it so I bought this car for her this spring, but after a few weeks she realized that this is not the car she wants to drive. She moved over from Europe and she never had a drive license until she was 39 years old(in 2012). She is doing ok now but she had a hard time driving the Ford Taurus. She decided to switch back to her toyota camry so since July this year I did drive this car about 1000 miles and I found this large sedan a great car. It;s so easy to drive it, so quite, absolutly great transmission and a very fast powerful engine. It's hard to describe this car since it looks loke a new one, but I can tell you that it's a non smoker car and still smells like a new car inside. There are no spots on seats or floor and no cracks on windows or wind shield. It's got a rare beautifull steel blue metallic color with make look so great out there on the road. there are no scratches on it and the car has been kept in garage. At the end of this month the factory warranty will expire, but the car was inspected and it would qualify bumper to bumper 7 years years or 100 K miles. I live 15 minutes away from Portland, OR airport, in Vancouver,WA where also the car is registered. I wish I keep this great car but it would not fit my need since I am in a trucking business. Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]

The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.

Report: GM struggling to market turbo technology

In the automotive realm, marketing can sometimes prove just as important as the actual product. Take, for instance, Ford's well regarded EcoBoost technology, which couples turbocharging with direct injection to produce more horsepower and reduce fuel consumption. Would it surprise you to hear that General Motors has had similar technology on the market for over three years?
It's true. GM's first turbocharged, direct injected powerplants hit the market for the 2007 model. The 2.0-liter Ecotec mills put down an impressive 260 horsepower and a matching 260 pound-feet of torque, and they were lauded by the press in the engine bays of the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Chevrolet Cobalt SS and Chevrolet HHR SS. But few people outside a core group of enthusiasts actually remember this fact.
Says Uwe Grebe, executive director of GM's global advanced engineering, "We didn't have a badge and say, 'This is the most important thing we will put on all our brochures.'" Ford, however, did just that, and it's EcoBoost engines are right at the tips of all our tongues when we discuss today's most advanced powerplants. So, how does The General fix its mistake?
