Hello you are bidding on a very nice damaged 2013 Ford Taurus SEL with 25,829 miles. The car is being sold as is with clear title. The vehicle sustained damage to the right front of the vehicle. The damage appears to be to the outside of the rail. The vehicles interior is in like new condition, and the vehicle is equipped with leather and sync screen information screen. The vehicle will need the following parts, front bumper cover, right fender, right inner fender liner, right headlight, wheel, tire, washer bottle, plastic piece that goes around the front bumper rebar, misc clips and mounting hardware, and misc trim on the front bumper cover. The right inner fender structure is rolled in but should be able to be pulled out and repaired. The vehicle does start and run and drive. The vehicle appears to have a good radiator and good ac condenser. The hood has some damage on it but very minor should be able to be repaired no problem. The plastic bolt in core support may be cracked once you take car apart. The parts are available used and new at car-pat or on www ebay com. The car is being sold as is damaged with clear title. American automakers fall in latest Fortune 500 rankings
Fri, 10 May 2013Not that it means anything beyond bragging rights, but if you're fixated on the positions of domestic automakers on the annual Fortune 500 list, both General Motors and Ford are still on it but they've slipped a couple of notches. The list ranks American companies and they're ordered solely by revenue. GM, fifth last year, came in seventh, while Ford fell from ninth to tenth even though both companies saw small gains in annual revenue.
GM's $152.3 billion in revenue was less than a third of that of the first company on the list: Wal-Mart, which regained the title from Exxon Mobil. Berkshire Hathaway and Apple are the firms that moved GM down. Ford, displaced by energy company Valero, had $134.3 billion in revenue.
On a side note, profitability isn't a factor, but both GM and Ford were down in this year's list compared to last year's: GM declined from $9.2 billion to $6.2 billion, Ford fell from $20.2 billion to $5.6 billion. If profits were included, Exxon Mobil would probably still be king: although the energy company made almost $20 billion less in revenue than Wal-Mart's $469.2 billion, it posted $44.9 billion in profit compared to Wal-Mart's $17 billion.

None of those statements - even the last one - would seem unbelievable. Saying "Ford opened up 88 dealerships in China last Thursday," though, is a bit more dramatic.
Yes, on June 19 alone, Ford opened the doors on nearly 100 showrooms in the People's Republic, boosting the Blue Oval's total presence in the country to 750 dealerships. Of course, while an overabundance of dealers in the US proved troublesome for American manufacturers back in 2008 and 2009, there's no such concern in China. Considering the country's huge population and the breakneck pace of the local auto industry, you could be forgiven for being surprised Ford only has 750 outlets at this stage.
What's notable about this most recent push, besides the sheer volume of new stores, is their location. Over three-quarters of the new dealerships are in so-called Tier 4 cities, which are smaller towns that still contain millions of people. This fits with Ford's strategy in China of avoiding the bigger battlegrounds that are already dominated by competitors and focusing on setting up shop in newer markets that may have been overlooked, according to Automotive News.
