1992 Taurus SHO 5spd AZ CAR

This is one of my personal cars Ive been toying with selling. I havent seen
one as nice as this daily driver in 5 yrs for sale locally.
Its a true RUST FREE salt free AZ Car that been in the desert its whole
life as far we can track it. And when you get under it, it almost looks like
the day it came off the showroom.

IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT concerning the car we are selling, please check out
our FEEDBACK , its there for a reason. For buyers to be able to see what kind of
seller they are potentially dealing with, and if you are buying a car long distance
our feedback speaks for itself and should give you Peace of Mind when it comes
to bidding on our items !

It runs and drives great.  The AC hasnt been blowing as cold this summer
But the heater works fine. The car is such a sleeper still and its a joy
to drive on a daily basis. Its also been adult owned and driven its whole
like. I drive mellow 90% of the time, but Ill admit a few times a month
I break 6 grand on the tach and embarrass a BMW or Honda trying to keep
up and have no idea what just spanked them.
Chances are, if you are viewing this auction
I dont need to tell you how cool these cars are, and getting more rare all
the time.

OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself
and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past
year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much
easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence.
NOT MANY OF THESE CARS WHERE MADE BACK IN THE DAY and we all know
NOT MANY ARE EVEN LEFT ON THE ROAD ANYMORE.

DRIVETRAIN: the original motor is just that, bone stock unmolested
motor, trans etc. Down to the original mufflers.
Last yr when the car was down on power, I installed a set of new
Magnaflow hi-flow cats (see pics) thinking maybe they where plugged.
Turns out it was more of an ignition problem which we fixed and
it didnt need the cats, but they are done and the car still sounds
basically stock.
Timing belt and other misc related stuff was done about 20k ago.
Also I did a new coil pack and an other ignition part last yr
when it started running bad. It also has new plugs.
The Yamaha V6 is an awesome engine that makes over 200hp
which in this case is connected to a 5 spd gearbox.
The hood struts are also brand new.

INTERIOR: the Az sun hasnt been too bad on this car, it still
shows nice and looks good. Some buttons of course on the
dash etc are showing wear, and the pass side A pillar clips
came loose on the trim pcs,  but other then that its clean and
ready to jump in and drive. Factory Sunroof is a nice touch too.
Even the radio is original.

EXTERIOR: the cars body is amazingly straight while all the
glass is good too. The paint is showing its age and hard to
tell in the pics, but most of the clear coat is missing on top.
So the white looks flat in areas and not glossy. The paint has
been like this for the last 5 yrs and not really bothered me
much it almost makes the car less pretty and people dont
bother it.

SUSPENSION
: basically all stock, and it feels worn in areas.
Im sure it will need some struts soon, they feel a little mushy
and maybe a upper strut mount. Sometimes I hear a small
knock when I go over a speedbump slowly coming from the
front. I was going to do the mount if and when I did new
struts. Tires are almost NEW Continentals, the best you can
buy.

Overall again, the car a great daily driver and deserves
to kept as stock as possible, because you just dont find
them like this anymore.
With a little work, it would be restored.

This car IS your typical rust free Arizona car.

These cars rarely even come up for sale anymore
Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

Heres a great chance to buy the Rust Free AZ  SHO you've
been looking for.
Very few this nice come up for sale anymore.
A car this well marketed for all potential bidders and buyers
Being sold by us, a seller with excellent feedback and history
With ebay and buyers. What more could you ask for ? :)

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Taurus's on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
I do have a few extra factory white OE SHO rims like what is on
the car I picked up as spares, if the winner wants them Id sell them
for an extra $25 per wheel. (think I have 3 in nice shape)
I ALSO have a factory rear lip spoiler with light for the car Ive never
installed. Its green and needs to be painted, but Id also sell that
if there is a winner for an extra $100.

IF you have under 10 feedback and bid on the car, thats fine but Ill
be emailing you if you do and if I dont get a reply within 24 hours
Ill be forced to Cancel your bid. All I ask for its Good Communication
and if you win the car, you finish the deal.

Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Our auctions have NOTHING to hide .
Restore a car like this yourself or locally and you know
exactly what you have in the end.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
If you treat yourself to buying one of our vehicles
youll never buy a total buckets again from anyone !!
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself.
Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor
intensive which means overall cost is less too !
With less horrid surprises later on.
Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you.
With other auctions,  you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.

UPDATE: GM, Ford, FCA, Honda shutting down all North America plants

Wed, Mar 18 2020

Following an earlier report that General Motors, Ford and FCA would take action to curtail the potential spread of the Coronavirus, news comes today that the three American automakers will instead close all North American plants for an unknown period of time. Ford said in a statement that it "is temporarily suspending production at its manufacturing sites in North America to March 30 to thoroughly clean its facilities to protect its workforce and boost containment efforts for the COVID-19 Coronavirus." General Motors followed with a statement confirming that its suspension "will last until at least March 30," and adding that the situation will be reevaluated from week to week after that. FCA has not yet issued an official statement. Rory Gamble, president of the United Auto Workers union, praised the news. "This will give us time to review best practices and to prevent the spread of this disease," Gamble said in a statement. According to the Associated Press, around 150,000 workers are "likely to receive supplemental pay in addition to unemployment benefits." The United Auto Workers had asked the automakers to reconsider their position on Wednesday, a day after the parties agreed to slow production at U.S. plants and limit the number of workers on the job at one time to prevent the spread of the virus, a source who asked not to be identified told Reuters. The UAW’s new request for the closure of the Detroit Three automakersÂ’ U.S. plants came after Honda said on Wednesday it was temporarily shutting its North American plants for six days because of the anticipated decline in consumer demand. First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities. Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo

Sun, 27 Apr 2014

When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.
You'll find a reminder of Ford Australia's heyday, a raucous exhaust note and some NSFW language in the short video below.
