One Family Owned Ford Ranger Xlt W/low Miles on 2040-cars
Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States
1993 Ranger XLT one family owned. My dad bought it new, I bought it from him, has only 137,xxx miles, very low miles, equipped with the largest V-6 Ford put in these, the 4.0. I bought the truck from him 2 years ago and just for preventative maintenance reasons, I did the following: NEW - radiator, water pump, upper/lower radiator hoses and heater hoses. NEW - alternator, starter, battery, starter solenoid, o2 sensors. NEW - Motorcraft fuel pump and fuel filter. NEW - Motorcraft ignition coil, plug wires and platinum plugs. NEW - fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator. NEW - shocks, brakes including rotors, pads, calipers and bearings in the front, drums, shoes and wheel cylinders in the back. NEW - JVC cd player. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles throughout the trucks entire life and the transmission has been serviced every 20-30000 miles and the rear end has been flushed. I am sure I am forgetting something. Not to offend anyone, but nothing on this truck was remanufactured, all new and nothing came from Autozone or Advance, all name brand parts, mostly Motorcraft. I did 90% of the work myself so I know it was done right. As you can tell, I take very good care of my vehicles. The interior is near perfect and the exterior is in very good shape. The truck has never been wrecked and has been garage kept it's entire life up until about 5 months ago when I moved. It is hand washed and cleaned once a week and waxed once a month. Thanks for looking.

Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile
Wed, 27 Mar 2013We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.

2015 Ford Mustang renders reveal look of the real thing
Tue, 15 Oct 2013This is, according to the pony-car obsessed kids over at Mustang6G.com, the closest, most accurate rendering of the new, 2015 Ford Mustang to date. Artis Chazcron used a combination of Ford CAD images and information from assorted spy shots to assemble a fairly handsome car, albeit one that conforms to the tired cliché of being more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Now, it's very important to note that these are still speculative renders, and that they only represent the base car - that could explain the lack of the Mustang's vestigial side scoops, along with other, newer styling cues that Mustang6G seems to think will arrive on production models. Those items include a new, double-bubble roof, although the Mustang aficionados claim that even if it were present, it'd barely be visible from these angles.
The front end is pretty spot on, compared to what we've seen from earlier spy shots, while the tail, with its interesting light design is something new. The louvered taillights look quite different from the current version, obviously, though Mustang has gone the whimsical route with taillights before. Also, note the new rear diffuser uses an integrated reverse light and rear foglight, the latter of which is required for sale in Europe.
