See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"There are minor scratches and a few small dings which can be equated with general use of a vehicle. I have taken pictures of the majority and will try to post the most prominent scratches as examples. The tinting on the passenger side window has several pin head sized bubbles near the top of the window as well some distortion when looking through the window; however, it is so menial that I cannot get it to show up in a picture. I have tried. The tinting on the window can be fixed for very little cost to you, if you so choose. Also, the passenger air bag plastic cover vibrates when in idle. It simply needs to be tightened with the battery cable disconnected. This can be fixed for little of no cost."

You are bidding on a 2008 Ford Ranger with 88K miles  on it. 24-26 MPG HYW!!! Tires are as follows about 3 months old on front and 8 months old on back. Loads of tread left on back, front are close to new. Oil changed regularly at or before 3k miles. Truck is not at the 3k mark yet, but I will change oil before buyer picks up. FREEZING COLD AC and burning hot heater for winter!!! Stock Radio. Bright Headlights. I am not the first owner, but I do know the history of this well cared for truck. I purchased it from a lady who had it gifted to her by her grandparents. They purchased it from original owner which was a small business. Super smooth transmission. All fluids kept up. I am selling because I have two Rangers and need to purchase my bride a better car. Minor scratches and a few small dings here and there to be equated with general where and tear. Bed Liner is in very good shape.  Window Tinting on passenger side has a couple of flaws which provide a little distortion when looking through the window (like water water on the window), but it is not enough for the camera to depict. Can be repaired for minimal cost. Passenger side airbag plastic cover vibrates when in idle. Can be tightened for no cost. Just spend a second on you tube.  Tires hold air perfectly. Interior in great shape. Speakers put out clear sound. Photos were taken days before adding things post. Truck was freshly washed and still wet when photos were taken, but the truck is clean and does have a good shine. Also, I use this truck daily so mileage may increase lightly, please contact me for more on exact mileage per day of request. Will be happy to answer any other question you have! Thanks for looking. Payment for Truck will be in cash or by Certified Bankers Check in Person. Buyer will need to pick up truck, or I may be willing to drop off, for expenses pending your location. Please contact me in advance for more.

Lincoln trumpets $129M investment, 300 new jobs in Louisville for MKC

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Remember when we used to talk about how close Lincoln was to being axed and how it seemed any day now the Grim Reaper would use it as a car service back to the grave? Last time we did it was, oh, not even a month ago. What a difference 27 days makes: Ford and Lincoln are trumpeting a $129M investment in the Louisville Assembly Plant that builds the MKC.
In July the MKC was the third-best-selling Lincoln of the brand's six offerings, beat by the MKZ and - by a much smaller margin - the MKX. It has sold 2,895 units in the two months it's been on sale, which is more than half the year-to-date sales of the MKS, MKT and Navigator. It's already important, is what we're trying to say, and this is before the Chinese market gets a crack at it later this year.
The money headed to Kentucky will be joined by 300 new workers, another marker in Ford's march to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the US by next year. You can read more about it in the press release below.

Ford recalling 830,000 vehicles to replace side door latches

Thu, Aug 4 2016

The Basics: Ford is conducting a recall for roughly 830,000 models. The affected vehicles include the 2013 to 2015 Ford C-Max, 2012 to 2015 Ford Focus, 2013 to 2015 Ford Escape, 2015 Lincoln MKC, 2015 Ford Mustang, and 2014 to 2016 Ford Transit Connect. The recall is focused primarily in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Washington, and Oregon as the problem mostly affects cars in states with warm weather. The Problem: The pawl spring tab in the side door latch in the affected vehicles could break, preventing the door from latching and could even cause the door to open while driving. Injuries/Deaths: There is one reported injury and one reported accident. The Fix: Dealers will replace the affected cars' side door latches. If you own one: Reach out to your local Ford dealer to schedule a service. Supercars for the win | Autoblog Podcast #515

Fri, May 19 2017

Some days at Autoblog are better than others. And in this episode, we talk about those days. Specifically, the days where we get to drive supercars. Mike Austin, Greg Migliore, and Alex Kierstein join up in this episode to talk about driving the McLaren 720S, Ford GT, and Porsche 911 GT3. We also drove some less-super, but still notable cars that we talk about at the top of the show. And as always, we play the game Spend My Money where we get to tell readers what we'd do if we were them. We had a lot of fun with this one, we hope you enjoy listening to it. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too.
