1973 Ford Ranchero 500 drives and runs great. 351W, 4sp manual transmission. Newer tires and rims, however front tires and rims are to wide. Needs tailpipes. Original interior. Paint about 2 years old. No rust. Clean Nevada title. Odometer shows 86,000 miles, pretty sure it's actually at least 186,000. Vehicle is also being advertised locally and regionally for sale, seller reserves right to end auction early if vehicle sells. Maybe able to deliver vehicle within a 300 mile radius for fuel cost. |

NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.

The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
