Up for sale is our 65 Ranchero. This Ranchero is rare because it is so solid and has very little rust. It would make an excellent candidate for a show car, restomod, drag racer, road racer or used as a daily driver. It runs and drives well. The suspension has been updated with a larger than stock front sway bar, stiffer than stock front coil springs and roller spring perches. All of the suspension is in good shape. It handles well and rides nice. It has 14" wheels on it with the 4 lug pattern and 4 wheel drum brakes that stop the Ranchero well with no issues. The motor runs good and the transmission shifts smooth with a new clutch. It has a new radiator and fuel pump. The carburetor was rebuilt and the motor fires right up in the mornings. It has a clear title and is currently on non-operation. It is not insured so there will be no test drives. It moves forward and backward under it's own power so loading it on a truck or boat is not an issue. It is being sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will not let the Ranchero be driven away from it's present location. It has been sitting for a while and should have a full safety check done on it before it is driven any distance. Devils, Details and Weight Reduction
There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.

Just because the new 2015 Ford Mustang has officially been released, you didn't think that would be the end of the matter - did you? Of course not. There'll still be plenty of rumors, reports and video footage to bring you. Like this, the first non-official footage of the new pony car in the wild.
Shot by YouTube user SotA1080 and dug up by our friends at CarBuzz, this clip shows the new Mustang posing for photos (alongside other Mustangs) and starting up its engine at the most recent gathering of Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA. And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way. Jay Leno's Garage goes eco with Ricardo HyBoost

"Now before you turn away, this is not another boring hybrid car thing..." Despite the slightly defensive introduction from Jay, the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage is actually pretty fascinating. The Ricardo HyBoost is a 2009 Ford Focus that has had a 1.1-liter engine swapped in for the stock 2.0-liter four. That might not get you performance enthusiasts out there fired up, until, that is, you hear that the 1.1L is also fed by both a turbocharger and an electrically driven supercharger for an instant-on "torque-fill" effect. Sounds about right, considering that Ricardo engineering is part of the genius behind the McLaren P1.
Perhaps most exciting of all, the Ricardo folks say that the package should run somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,100. A sort of performance-hybrid that makes sense for the frugal driver and the enthusiast one, then. There's a lot more to the HyBoost, all of which can be seen in the video below.
