See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"This is a solid, super low rust Ranchero that would make a great show car or restomod. The body is in great shape with only 3 small spots of rust. On the right side of the Ranchero is a very small spot in the front of the rear fender well ( see photo ). On the left side there is a small spot at the front of the rear fender well, about the same size as the one on the right side ( see photo ). The drivers door has a small spot of rust at the front lower corner. The front bumper has some surface ruse but is 99% straight. The rear bumper has a bend in it on the right side but has good chrome. Both are original bumpers and would make great cores for re-chroming. The only body damage is a small dent on the right front fender ( see photo ) and a small scratch/dent in the left rear quarter panel by the tail light ( see photo ). There are two patch panels behind the seat, one on each side ( see photo ). The spare tire and jack are missing. The wheel covers/hub caps do not go with the Ranchero."
Up for sale is our 65 Ranchero. This Ranchero is rare because it is so solid and has very little rust. It would make an excellent candidate for a show car, restomod, drag racer, road racer or use as a daily driver. It runs and drives well. The suspension has been updated with a larger than stock front sway bar, stiffer than stock front coil springs and roller spring perches. All of the suspension is in good shape. It handles well and rides nice. It has 14" wheels on it with the 4 lug pattern and 4 wheel drum brakes that stop the Ranchero well with no issues. The motor runs well and the transmission shifts smooth with a new clutch. It also has a new radiator and fuel pump. The carburetor was rebuilt and works well, the motor fires right up in the mornings. It has a clear title and is currently on non-operation. It is not insured so there will be no test drives. It moves forward and backward under it's own power so loading it on a truck or boat is not an issue. It is being sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will not let the Ranchero be driven away from it's present location. Please look at the photos and I will be happy to answer any questions or provide more photos upon request.

NHTSA closes Ford F-Series Super Duty steering probe without recall
Wed, 05 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's investigation into 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups, which was originally opened last year, has now ended without a recall. NHTSA was looking into steering failures on some 336,000 trucks.
The issue rested with the steering gear - NHTSA received five complaints of failures - which was redesigned in 2005. According to the report on the matter, investigators "found evidence of broken sector shaft gear teeth and piston damage consistent with incidents of single event overload."
NHTSA investigators, however, "found no evidence of fatigue or material property defects in any of the fractures. Analysis of complaint rates by vehicle build month showed no patterns indicating potential manufacturing quality issues and no difference before and after Ford introduced design changes to the input shaft and sector shaft seals in July 2007 to address potential leak concerns," according to the report, obtained by The Detroit News.

While the video might lack the show's charismatic hosts, this is an opportunity to see a drag race between a Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR with 550 horsepower and a Hennessey VelociRaptor with 623 hp. The duel between these two supercharged V8s definitely sounds great. Both rugged models start at the line growling angrily at each other like dogs ready for a fight. You have to watch the clip to see whether the more powerful VelociRaptor feeds on the SVR, though. Saleen previews new 302 Mustang
Thu, 03 Jul 2014The introduction of a new generation of a model like the Ford Mustang may be exciting enough in its own right for enthusiasts, but that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, because you know that Ford itself as well as numerous aftermarket tuners will soon follow up with even more desirable versions. And few Mustang tuners carry quite the same clout of Saleen.
Recently reunited after its previous split, Saleen is back on the map and hard at work on new aftermarket modifications for a wide array of muscle cars. We knew it would only be a matter of time before it would release a new 302 Mustang, and now it's sent out the first image to show us what to expect.
Details are scarce, but House that Steve Built says the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang "is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic." And it should know, considering that it's the same outfit that produced the Saleen S7 that really was a true American exotic. From the teaser image above we can see that Saleen has given its Mustang a new front air dam, a very wide air scoop on the hood and of course Saleen's trademark slat grille.
