Ford Other Custom on 2040-cars
Atwater, Ohio, United States
This beautiful 1950 Custom Deluxe Coupe is my grandfather's last classic car rebuild. He has owned the vehicle for 42 years and is only it's second owner. The coupe has extremely low mileage on the body and on the engine, around 20,000 miles on each separately since the engine was put in. The vehicle is fully customized with power windows, seats, and door locks. The car itself is a dream to drive with plenty of power and an enchanting engine rumble. The vehicle has also won 1st place winner in many shows, trophies to prove. Overview: - Full custom - Re-upholstered interior - Engine: 5.0 H.O engine, Mustang GT, late model - Transmission: Rear-end, Mustang GT, late model - Street show - 1st place winner in many shows, trophies to prove For more information, call (740) 894-4059 and ask for Roger.

2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealedThu, 02 Oct 2014
Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Around back there's a one-piece deck spoiler and "race-inspired lower aero-valance."
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car nameThu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Ford builds USAF Thunderbirds Edition Mustang for charityTue, 02 Jul 2013
Each year since 2008, Ford has created a one-off Mustang to celebrate military aviation, and the cars have been auctioned off at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Gathering of Eagles charity event to raise money to inspire the next generation of aviators. This year's charity car is the 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition, which also helps celebrate 60 years of Thunderbirds air show excellence.
Of all the EAA charity cars, this Thunderbirds Edition is the most in depth. Painted to match the F-16 Tomcat fighter jets used by Thunderbirds, this Mustang also gets a widebody kit and 22-inch Forgiato wheels to go with the cockpit's Recaro bucket seats, rear-seat delete and modified navigation screen and gauge cluster. Even the Mustang's projector puddle lights have been changed to show an aircraft silhouette - rather than the Mustang's galloping horse logo - when the doors are open.
Themes for previous EAA charity cars include the Blue Angels, SR-71 Blackbird and the Red Tails as well as the F-22 Raptor-inspired AV8R and AV-X10 "Dearborn Doll" models. Scroll down for the press release for the 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition, and be sure to check out our galleries for all six aviation-themed Mustangs.
