Thanks for looking at my truck. It has a good running original flathead with the extra duty factory options for the 4 speed on the floor transmission and rear end. One of the previous owners had made a custom rear bumper and hitch receiver for it to tow parade floats and it also has separate turn signals on it. It has also been upgraded to a 12volt system. Everything on the truck functions as it should aside from the fuel gauge and at some point it had an electric fuel pump and windshield wipers put in too. It pulls pretty strong for an old flat head but does lose some coolant at high speeds. The photos show some wear and tear on the truck, it has a little bondo and a few dents in the front fenders but they are an easy fix for a body guy or you can just drive it like it is. The truck has been driven around town and in a few local parades the past few years with no problems. Take a look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot
Sat, 11 Jan 2014There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."

Ford Focus refresh shots leak ahead of Geneva
Sun, 23 Feb 2014In case you haven't been paying attention, Ford has been gradually redesigning its lineup to sport a familiar face. The Aston Martin-inspired grille shape debuted on the Fusion and was soon applied to the Fiesta. Even the front end of the new Mustang takes its cues from the same, and we're sure other models will soon be made-over to fall in line. The next on the docket? The Focus.
Set to be unveiled in little over a week at the Geneva Motor Show, the revised Focus has leaked out a tad early, revealing a mild facelift that bears that same trapezoidal grille with horizontal slats. Along with the new grille, the headlights, lower fascia and hood appear to have been reshaped. Around back there appears to be a new rear bumper and taillights, but otherwise the shape remains largely the same as the current model.
Expect the updates to be applied to all bodystyles offered around the world, including the hatchback, wagon and sedan. The engine lineup is expected to carry over largely unchanged, though the plug-in hybrid powertrain from the C-Max Energi could port over to the revised Focus. Plus Ford seems to have taken the opportunity to spruce things up in the cabin some.
