Only body work needed is on right rear fender which has 2 cracks welded. They would need to be smoothed. Fenders and running boards are all steel. New dash. Bucket seats. Speedometer needs hooked up as does fuel gage in the new cluster. Needs a headliner. Runs very well. 350 Oldsmobile motor with a turbo 350 transmission. Daily driven currently. Tires are 80-90%. Steering is tight with no slop. Perfect for those car shows or someone who wants to cruise around in an older truck. Side windows could be replaced. 1946 Ford Pickup. It is a two-wheel drive pickup with the classic flared fenders and wide running boards.

Has modern suspension which lowers the truck approximately 3-4 inches from original. Has a two-tone paint scheme which is black and gold. The paint is fair and would need to be redone at some point. Only body work needed is on right rear fender which has 2 cracks welded. Otherwise the body is straight. The fender welds would need to be smoothed prior to paint. Body, fenders and running boards are all steel. You can actually step on the running boards! Has had an entire new dash installed. Currently set up with bucket seats.

Speedometer needs hooked up as does the fuel gauge in the new instrument cluster. Currently does not have a headliner but could use one. The truck runs very well and is equipped with a 350 Oldsmobile motor and a turbo 350 transmission behind it. It is daily driven at this time. The tires are 80-90%. Steering is tight with no slop. The side windows could be replaced since they have cracks in them. They role up and down no problem. I usually have them down anyway due to the warm weather.

This truck is perfect for those car shows that are still coming up or for someone who wants to cruise around in an older truck.

Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?

Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.

Ford of Europe is back with another stop-motion video that – like versions one and two Â– throws a 1:64-scale Ford Fiesta in Ken Block livery around a fabulous world of action figures and make believe. This year's video "drives rings around some of the biggest YouTube hits," so those of you who've lost years of your lives to the greatest distraction since the human navel can put your knowledge to use. Ford dealer gives James Robertson new 2015 Taurus

James Robertson, the 56-year-old Detroit native famous for walking 21 miles to work each day for the last 10 years, is behind the wheel again thanks to a gift from a Ford dealer. Robertson became an Internet sensation when the story about his daily ordeal came to light, and a GoFundMe campaign initially hoped to raise $5,000 to buy him a new ride. As of this writing, it has reached over $300,000. He didn't have to dip into any of that money to buy the new car, though. According to The Detroit Free Press, Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights, MI, heard about Robertson's story of never being late to work and having perfect attendance. The dealer is donating a fully loaded, red 2015 Taurus to him. It's not one of our choices, but certainly nothing to sneeze at. Robertson started walking to work in 2005 when his Honda broke down. According to the GoFundMe page, his job is about 23 miles away, but thanks to Detroit's poor bus network, he covers about 21 miles of that round-trip trek on foot each day.
