OK GENTLEMEN, IF THIS CAR APPEALS TO YOU, LET ME KNOW QUICK BECAUSE I'M LIKELY TO JUST CHANGE MY MIND AND KEEP IT. THIS IS MY 2007 ROUSH SPORT GT MUSTANG WITH THE 4.6L SUPERCHARGED ENGINE. THERE ARE ONLY 10,880 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS BAD BOY AND IT IS IN EXTREMELY NICE CONDITION ALL AROUND. SEPARATE FROM THE POLISHED SUPERCHARGER PACKAGE ($5700.00), THERE ARE $9816.00 WORTH OF ROUSH PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES ON THE CAR. IT'S VISTA BLUE IN COLOR WITH THE WHITE RACING STRIPES AND ROUSH SPORT APPEARANCE PACKAGE. THE PAINT AND EXTERIOR CONDITION IS EXCELLENT. THE INTERIOR HAS THE TWO TONE BLACK AND BLUE ROUSH LEATHER PACKAGE WITH POWER SEATING AND IT'S SPOTLESS JUST LIKE THE PICTURES SHOW.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE ADD ON'S TO THIS CAR, ASIDE FROM THE POLISHED SUPERCHARGER PACKAGE, IS THE STAGGERED 20 IN. CHROME VENTI WHEELS WHICH REALLY SET THIS CAR OFF FROM THE REST OF THE PACK. I GET THUMBS UP AND COMPLIMENTS EVERY TIME I TAKE IT OUT OF THE GARAGE, WITHOUT FAIL.
ANOTHER AWESOME FEATURE I HAD CUSTOM INSTALLED WAS A MUFFLER DELETE EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH THE ROUSH POLISHED EXHAUST TIPS. IT GIVES THE CAR AN INSANE SOUND. THE CAR HAS THE PERFECT GROWL THAT MUSTANGS ARE KNOWN FOR, AND WHEN YOU COMBINE THAT WITH THE WHINE OF THE POLISHED SUPERCHARGER WHEN YOUR GETTING ON IT AND PUTTING YOUR FOOT DOWN, IT WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE FROM EAR TO EAR AND MAKE FOR SOME EXTREME DRIVING PLEASURE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!
DURING MY OWNERSHIP THIS CAR HAS BEEN MORE OF A TROPHY CAR THAN ANYTHING ELSE. IT HONESTLY SPENDS MOST OF THE TIME JUST BEING ON DISPLAY IN MY GARAGE. I AM VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT WHERE AND WHEN I DRIVE IT, THAT'S JUST HOW I AM, AND THUS THE LOW MILEAGE. THE ONLY REASON I HAVE IT UP FOR SALE IS BECAUSE THE NEW ROUSH'S ARE CALLING MY NAME AND I'M THINKING ABOUT AN UPGRADE. SO IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT MUSTANG WITH 427R PERFORMANCE BUT NOT THE 427R PRICE TAG, THEN YOU SHOULD CHECK THIS ONE OUT. THE CAR ALSO HAS A BUMPER TO BUMPER EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT I WOULD BE WILLING TO INCLUDE IF THE RESERVE PRICE IS MET. MY NAME IS PAUL AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME FOR ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE AT 832-428-3065. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
THE CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I WILL END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME IF IT SELLS TO A LOCAL BUYER. I WILL REQUIRE A $500.00 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24HRS OF AUCTION END, FINAL BALANCE DUE UPON VEHICLE PICK UP. ALL FUNDS MUST BE CLEARED PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE VEHICLE. I DO HAVE A LOAN ON THIS VEHICLE, SO THE TITLE WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AFTER THE PAYOFF OF THE CURRENT LOAN BALANCE. THIS MAY TAKE APPROXIMATELY 10 DAYS OR SO. I WILL SELL THE CAR WITH A NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE AND FORWARD THE TITLE TO YOU AS SOON AS IT IS MADE AVAILABLE TO ME.

Ford Mustang GT500 successor spied near SVT
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Details about the next-gen Ford Mustang are scarce, and there's even less information out there about the upcoming replacement for the Shelby GT500. Previously rumored to drop the Shelby name and wear the GT350 moniker, the highest-performance Mustang has just been spotted testing near Ford's SVT operations.
Despite being cloaked in heavy camouflage, we can instantly tell this prototype is different from other Mustang spy shots we've seen in the past. Aside from the Shelby-spec wheels, quad exhaust outlets (previous spy shots show only two) and beefier brakes, this car also has air intakes on the hood and front fenders. These elements help to neither prove nor dismiss rumors that the next SVT Mustang will be naturally aspirated. It also looks like Ford is may be planning some changes to this car's rear suspension, as there is some extra camouflage added beneath the rear end of this prototype.
As a bonus, these spy shots also give us our first look inside the new Mustang, revealing a new steering wheel (with more buttons) and a glimpse of the dual-pod instrument gauges. Check out past spy shots of the 2015 Mustang showing off its new face and driving around town.
Ford director says company has big efficiency plans, but no dedicated EV
Wed, Mar 12 2014The annual autofest known as the North American International Auto Show previews a plethora of exciting new products that we'll see and drive later in the year, from tiny urban commuters to family sedans and crossovers to hard-working big pickups and SUVs. It's also a once-a-year cornucopia of auto executives and leaders from around the world. "There will be some really fun stuff that you'll hear about in the future" - Ford's Kevin Layden So, in-between dozens of cool new-product unveilings on rotating stages during the two press days preceding the public show, we auto scribes grab what planned and impromptu interviews we can. Sessions with top industry leaders can be hard to get, but I was able to score a seat in a group session with then-General Motors North America president (now executive VP of global product development) Mark Reuss, and I also managed brief one-on-ones with a trio of vehicle electrification leaders, one each from Ford, BMW and GM, and what they said then remains relevant now. First up is Kevin Layden, Ford's Director of Electrified Powertrain Engineering. ABG: Where will Ford go beyond its current Focus EV and hybrids, and will there be a Ford EV and/or hybrid on its own energy-optimized platform one day. KL: We don't want to do a dedicated electric vehicle with all the development costs borne by a niche product. At the Michigan Assembly plant right now we're building the Focus electric, PHEV and EcoBoost on the same assembly line. Also the C-Max, with both a hybrid and an Energi plug-in, and we use that same power pack in the Fusion Hybrid and Energi. We want to be, "The power of choice" [a Ford marketing slogan], so having that choice for customers is very important. And if I want to sell the Fusion, Focus and C-Max globally, we can use these power packs wherever it makes sense. So as we go forward, you'll see us proliferating the power packs we have today. Then the question is, what do we do next? There will be some really fun stuff that you'll hear about in the future. ABG: Is the efficiency difference between a dedicated ultra-efficient vehicle platform and a shared multi-use platform getting smaller as all platforms get more efficient? KL: Exactly. Were going through aero studies now on wheels and tires and hood sealers on base vehicles. We have full aerodynamic wind tunnel studies going on with the base Focus and C-Max, so all of that [aerodynamic improvement] will be there for EVs.
Ford to spread all-wheel drive across performance range
Tue, Feb 10 2015Car and Driver took a closer look at the all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS, Ford reps having made "broad hints" about it being applied to other performance vehicles. One spokesperson even said that he "can see this as one of those technologies of the future." That would make sense because, as C/D notes, it couldn't have been an inexpensive job to engineer the torque-vectoring unit for the Focus – one that can send 70 percent of torque to the rear wheels, and send 100 percent of that portion to either wheel if needed. C/D also clues into the system's close similarity to the AWD unit in the recently updated Range Rover Evoque, which is manufactured by Sweden's GKN Driveline. In the Evoque, torque vectoring is brake based and two electronically controlled clutches turn the Range into a front-wheel-drive crossover under 22 miles per hour. Ford wouldn't comment on the GKN Driveline connection, or even if there is one. No matter where it might come from, more performance Fords are good for every enthusiast, and we do not look an AWD, torque-vectoring gift horse in the mouth.
