I am selling my amazing 1966 Mustang Restomod which was FULLY RESTORED from the ground up! This gorgeous American muscle car has won several BEST OF SHOW awards and is a real showstopper / head turner whenever it is taken out ( which has been very rarely by the way!). Admired by car aficianados and everyday people alike!
This 1966 Fastback A-code doesn't just look great.....it is a powerful machine! It has a 331 cubic inch 302 engine from Fox Lake, a DART Block, Top dollar short block with Edelbrock Heads. It has a Prosystems Carburetor, and a powerful Procharger Supercharger, 8-12 lbs. This car makes a whopping 523 Horse at the Rear wheels! We are talkin' fast! It has a built T-5 transmission, 9" rear with 355 gears and 31 spline axels. (DRIVE TRAIN IS TOP NOTCH!). It has 3" polished stainless exhaust, total control front suspension, and an aerospace brake system ( THE BEST OF THE BEST!).
This gorgeous car is Carnival Red Metallic with ghost stripes across the lower edge of door. This paint job is crazy nice! (oh and ALL body bolts are ARP!).
The Interior on this vehicle is like new. The Caroll Shelby signed glove box is an added touch, and besides being a great conversation piece, is a true piece of American Muscle car history! Any true Ford enthusiast can't help but smile while looking at that signature on this growling piece of Americana!
The torque thrust wheels / BFG tires are perfect for this ride! Great look, great handling!
I have owned this car for about 10 years and have countless hours and countless dollars in this amazing vehicle! I put the best of the best into this car and it shows at every curve and line! This car has been babied and garaged and covered and coddled the whole time I have had it....never in rain, never neglected....and the next owner will be lucky to call this his own! If you have any questions, call Mark at 703 343 6950.

Ford director says company has big efficiency plans, but no dedicated EV
Wed, Mar 12 2014The annual autofest known as the North American International Auto Show previews a plethora of exciting new products that we'll see and drive later in the year, from tiny urban commuters to family sedans and crossovers to hard-working big pickups and SUVs. It's also a once-a-year cornucopia of auto executives and leaders from around the world. "There will be some really fun stuff that you'll hear about in the future" - Ford's Kevin Layden So, in-between dozens of cool new-product unveilings on rotating stages during the two press days preceding the public show, we auto scribes grab what planned and impromptu interviews we can. Sessions with top industry leaders can be hard to get, but I was able to score a seat in a group session with then-General Motors North America president (now executive VP of global product development) Mark Reuss, and I also managed brief one-on-ones with a trio of vehicle electrification leaders, one each from Ford, BMW and GM, and what they said then remains relevant now. First up is Kevin Layden, Ford's Director of Electrified Powertrain Engineering. ABG: Where will Ford go beyond its current Focus EV and hybrids, and will there be a Ford EV and/or hybrid on its own energy-optimized platform one day. KL: We don't want to do a dedicated electric vehicle with all the development costs borne by a niche product. At the Michigan Assembly plant right now we're building the Focus electric, PHEV and EcoBoost on the same assembly line. Also the C-Max, with both a hybrid and an Energi plug-in, and we use that same power pack in the Fusion Hybrid and Energi. We want to be, "The power of choice" [a Ford marketing slogan], so having that choice for customers is very important. And if I want to sell the Fusion, Focus and C-Max globally, we can use these power packs wherever it makes sense. So as we go forward, you'll see us proliferating the power packs we have today. Then the question is, what do we do next? There will be some really fun stuff that you'll hear about in the future. ABG: Is the efficiency difference between a dedicated ultra-efficient vehicle platform and a shared multi-use platform getting smaller as all platforms get more efficient? KL: Exactly. Were going through aero studies now on wheels and tires and hood sealers on base vehicles. We have full aerodynamic wind tunnel studies going on with the base Focus and C-Max, so all of that [aerodynamic improvement] will be there for EVs.
Saleen previews new 302 Mustang
Thu, 03 Jul 2014The introduction of a new generation of a model like the Ford Mustang may be exciting enough in its own right for enthusiasts, but that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, because you know that Ford itself as well as numerous aftermarket tuners will soon follow up with even more desirable versions. And few Mustang tuners carry quite the same clout of Saleen.
Recently reunited after its previous split, Saleen is back on the map and hard at work on new aftermarket modifications for a wide array of muscle cars. We knew it would only be a matter of time before it would release a new 302 Mustang, and now it's sent out the first image to show us what to expect.
Details are scarce, but House that Steve Built says the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang "is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic." And it should know, considering that it's the same outfit that produced the Saleen S7 that really was a true American exotic. From the teaser image above we can see that Saleen has given its Mustang a new front air dam, a very wide air scoop on the hood and of course Saleen's trademark slat grille.
