I am Selling my Car Because I have decided to purchase a new GT350. Ive had the car for about a year now being my
3rd Supercharged mustang and 4th mustang overall. The exterior is all stock except for the Grill Delete. Its never
been driven in the rain, always garage kept, never smoked in, never seen a track, and the vehicle is absolutely
spotless. It has 2300 miles (400 miles with the kit) on it along with the factory tires with plenty of tread left
and its in brand new condition. The pictures were taken with my iphone and I can send a lot more if needed. Not a
crease in the seats, not a scratch on the paint or anything. not going to find another GT in this shape unless its
brand new. Here are the Specs.
Factory: (44500 dollars)
(Its fully loaded)
Track package
Heated and cooled leather seats
Navigation
Back up camera
Aftermarket Add ons: (11,000 + labor)
Procharger D1 Supercharger Kit
Stage 2 Inter cooler
ID 1000 injectors
Vortec fuel boost pump
Ford Boost Gauge (factory location)
8 Rib Supercharger belt and pulley conversion
Kooks 1-7/8 long tube headers
MBRP Sport exhaust
Ford Racing Performance Parts Handling Pack (struts, springs, bushings, front and rear sway bars)
Tuned By John Lund Racing with SCT ( 694.02 HP / 582.43 lb/ft of torque )
Lethal Performance Grill Delete
TSS billet oil pump Gear set
This Car was built the right way, it handles the power it has very well, but it is nothing to mess around with. It
is also very dependable power. Drives like a bone stock mustang, doesn't run lean, low timing, and running 14lbs of
boost. Everything was installed by Carolina Speed Works, the only trust worthy Mustang shop in my area. I do not
have to sell this vehicle so the price is fairly firm. Stupid offers wont get a response.

Ford Transit gets outfitted for prison duty

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

Between the Taurus-based Police Interceptor, the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility and the F-150 and Expedition special service vehicles, Ford has no lack of offerings for law enforcement. And now it has one more in the form of the new Transit PTV.
Based on the fullsize Transit van, the Prisoner Transport Vehicle can move as many as 12 prisoners in three separate compartments between detention facilities. Created in collaboration with Pennsylvania-based Havis Prisoner Transport Solutions and with input from Ford's Police Advisory Board, the Transit PTV takes advantage of the Transit's considerable configuration options that include three roof heights, two wheelbases, three lengths and four body-styles - not to mention engine options that include the flex-fuel 3.7-liter V6, 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 3.2-liter Power Stroke diesel.
"Transit PTV is the latest example of Ford's deep commitment to helping provide law enforcement agencies with capable vehicles. This concept proves Transit is upfit-ready and designed to Built Ford Tough standards," said Jonathan Honeycutt, Ford police marketing manager. "Many Police Advisory Board members have had the chance to drive this vehicle and they are excited about it. This new vehicle is tough, smart and efficient - ideal for the needs of law enforcement agencies."

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.

Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
