Just email me at: elizebethsemonick@toothfairy.com . 2014 Ford Mustang GT coupe, mint condition.  Race Red exterior, dark charcoal
leather interior, automatic transmission.  Equipment group 401A, premier trim
with color accent.  Wheels are 500 mile OEM take off from an 11-12 Shelby with
the SVTPP, both the wheels and tires are in excellent condition.  Car is
lowered via Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs and the rear end has been centered
with a BMR hammertone black adjustable panhard rod with polyurethane bushings.
Car sounds fantastic through the Roush axlebacks that are installed, no drone
or rasp, just a nice aggressive sound without being obnoxiously loud.  Front
fog lights have been deleted and both the upper and lower grill have been
replaced with the Roush units.  Windows are 30% tinted on all except for the
windshield.  The car currently has a 93 octane mail order tune via Lund Racing
and SCT X4 programmer that makes it an absolute blast to drive!  This will be
removed prior to completing a sale of the vehicle but can be
purchased separately if the buyer would like to do so.  Also included but not
pictured is an OEM car cover thats in excellent condition, purchased new from
the dealer when I purchased the car.  All the work to the car was done by me at
my performance shop in Pittsburgh, Wolfpack Speed.  The car had 250 miles on it
when I purchased it from a local dealer, with approximately 1200 miles on the
odometer now, there really isn't much to talk about regarding the vehicles
condition.  There are no scratches, dents, accidents, paint work or anything
negative to report.  I'm sure if you look over the car with
a magnifying glass you will find a stone chip on the front end somewhere but
that is honestly the only thing I can think of.  With very little free time,
the car just sits in the garage at my house and needs to go.

TRANSLOGIC 147: CES 2014 Autonomous Vehicles

Wed, Jan 15 2014

We head back to CES in Las Vegas to check on the progress of autonomous vehicles in 2014. We go hands-free on the highway with Audi, narrowly avoid a collision with Ford and hear all about BMW's drifting driverless car. But first we take a ride on Induct's self-driving Navia shuttle.

Toyota, Ford not interested in FCA merger

Mon, Jun 15 2015

Sergio Marchionne will preach the benefits of mergers to anyone who'll listen, but his calls for industry consolidation may be falling on deaf ears. At least, that is, the ears of those who the Fiat Chrysler chief would most like to bend. Not only is General Motors uninterested, but according to The Detroit News, neither are Toyota or Ford. "It's something we would not be interested in," said Toyota's North American chief Jim Lentz, at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Toyota Technical Center. "At 10 million (vehicles) we have enough scale right now to do what we need to do. There really would be no advantage for us." Toyota isn't the only one unenthused by the prospect of merging with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The Detroit News also reports that Ford, though it may yet to have been approached by Marchionne, wouldn't be interested either. "We're not a suitor for FCA," said Ford CFO Bob Shanks. "We don't see that type of opportunity as one that applies to us." With GM, Toyota, and Ford expressing disinterest in Marchionne's merger idea, the FCA chief will likely start looking elsewhere – or look for other ways to compel his primary candidate to reconsider. He may eventually find a partner – more likely in the Far East or within Europe – but it may not take the form of the major player Sergio has hoped for. GM readying aluminum-body fullsize pickups

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

Ford's extensive use of aluminum in its 2015 F-150 is a big deal. A really big deal. Big enough, in fact, that General Motors is reportedly changing its fullsize pickup strategy. According to The Wall Street Journal, The General has locked in partnerships with Alcoa Inc. and Novelis Inc. - companies that will supply aluminum for the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.
"Ford's introduction of the 2015 F-150 pickup truck was a game changer, and it's the first, not the last, conversion of this type," Novelis spokesperson Charles Belbin told the Journal. The switch to aluminum has allowed Ford to shave roughly 700 pounds off its fullsize truck's curb weight. And while official mileage ratings have not been announced, the weight loss should go a long way for improving efficiency, especially when combined other efficiency-minded improvements including better aerodynamics and new, turbocharged V6 engines.
Of course, aluminum-bodied cars are nothing new. But extensive use of aluminum in a major, best-selling product like the Ford F-150 is expected to kick off widespread use of this weight-saving material as availability rises and cost decreases. The WSJ reports that GM had originally explored the idea of moving to aluminum pickups back in 2008, but abandoned the idea due to cost concerns amid economic woes.
