Up for sale is a 2006 Mustang GT Excellent Showroom Condition with low miles. I'm the second owner of the car. It has been well taken care of by both owners who routinely go to car shows. It stays inside my garage and has been driven about 15k in the 3 years I've owned it. Oil changes have been with Royal Purple Synthetic motor oil and the car has had all services and inspections done at the Ford Dealership. It looks showroom condition and drives terrific. The previous owner had installed some light mods to the car for performance and appearance.
Hurst Short Throw Shifter - K&N Cold Air Induction - Bassani X-Pipe w/cats - American Thunder (by Flowmaster) Exhaust - SCT Tuner w/ a Performance Tune - Sirrus XM Satellite receiver - Engine dress up package w/ strut tower covers
- The original Window sticker - Various cabin touch ups.
THERE IS STILL A LEIN ON THE VEHICLE.
It hasn't been driven hard and generally sees about 15 miles a week put on it as a kid transport for out latest addition (truck only holds 2 :P ) so it doesn't sit all of the time. It's a blast to drive and sounds terrific. It's washed, detailed and then put away after every show so it stays in show condition but I've just gotten tired of car seat transplants and switching out vehicles to take the kids to school so I'll be getting a more user friendly family vehicle. Any questions feel free to toss me a message. I'm NOT looking for trades. Including a link to EBay's My Garage so you can see more pictures. Good Luck and Happy bidding.

Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
Detroit 3 and UAW could create healthcare pool
Thu, Sep 3 2015Healthcare costs continue to multiply in the US with no clear end in sight, but the United Auto Workers and the Big Three are negotiating a way to rapid growth under control. As part of the latest contract talks, the union has an idea to create a healthcare pool across all of its members at Ford, General Motors, and FCA US. If accepted, the company-wide integration would spread out the expenses and create a massive member base for bargaining with insurance companies. Both Ford and GM are at least considering the proposal, according to The Detroit News, and FCA US might be on board, as well. The idea is the work of current UAW president Dennis Williams and is based on the similar pool for the Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association for retirees. "I've walked through this several ways; I just don't have any other answer," Williams said to The Detroit News. "I do believe this will work. It's worked with the VEBA." Williams was elected UAW president last year and won by an overwhelming margin. He vowed no more concessions to automakers. In addition to healthcare, the two-tier wage system is another major talking point in the contract negotiation because it gives fewer benefits to entry-level workers. Higher wages are also a request. Healthcare costs are a massive expense for automakers and are expected to reach over $2 billion this year, according to The Detroit News. The payments are up nearly 50 percent or more in just the last four years.
Long winter means most automakers won't curb summer shutdown
Sun, 18 May 2014A lot more happened during this latest brutal winter than days of snow and Netflix binges. Automotive sales took a battering. After all, going out car shopping when it's eleventy-billion degrees below zero isn't a good time.
Because of this Old Man Winter-induced sales slump, inventories are abnormally high as we head into the summer car buying season. That's led some analysts to predict that automakers will be more inclined to idle factories this summer, in a bid to trim some of the built-up inventory. Traditionally, American manufacturers offer up a two-week break in the middle of summer, although the burgeoning sales of the past few years have seen this practice become less popular.
"We're likely not going to see an acceleration this year," Jeff Schuster, a senior vice president at LMC Automotive, told The Detroit News. "We'll see production increases in 'pockets' but I don't know if it will be as widespread as in recent years."
