We are selling our 2006 Mustang with the Pony package including Bullitt wheels, spoiler, dark window tint, dash cover, power seat, power locks & windows, Shaker 500 radio/ 6 Cd changer/ mp3 player, keyless entry, very cold A/C and cruise control. It is an automatic....runs and drives very nice. No issues at all....No leaks of any kind. It passed smog on 4/29/2013 so that is still current. It has 95,925 miles as of today. The Mustang is all stock and it has a newer alternator and ACDelco battery. I also just replaced the front rotors and brake pads about a month ago. The Mustang was always taken care of and serviced properly....It has good power but was never abused. It is used so it does have its scratches here and there but very clean overall. There is a small dent on the passenger door. It has always been a very dependable car with very minimal repairs needed. I am buying a new Mustang so this one has to go. Buyer is responsible for pick up and/or delivery of the car. I am asking for a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and balance is due within 10 days unless an arrangement is made. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to honestly answer and get right back to you. Also I have a very fair reserve set on the Mustang. Thank you and good luck..

2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:

NHTSA closes rollaway investigation into 1.56M Ford SUVs
Mon, 11 Mar 2013It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
The probe, which centered on the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, ends without the federal agency calling for a recall. According to The Detroit News, the investigation was closed due to a "low number of complaints" - NHTSA documented 180 such complaints that resulted in 14 crashes and six minor injuries, but the number of incidents have been slowing. The suspected defect rate for the trucks' automatic transmissions was found to be 4.4 per 100,000 units, and the brake-shift interlock mechanism failure rate was judged to be even lower at 3.4 per 100k.
