2001 Mustang GT. Vehicle needs some work. Runs and drives pretty good but has minor exhaust leak which sounds like its around the driver side header. Previous owner installed BBK shorty headers so it could be from that. Also has 80mm BBK throttle body/plenum and cold air intake. Has new clutch and an extra new clutch comes with it also. New spark plugs installed and old ones looked good, all cylinders firing evenly. Did have Magnapack exhaust but was to loud for me so it now has some Dynomax super turbos that need some hangers welded up, also includes the Magnapacks. Has mach 460 with an aftermarket head unit. Car needs a paint job and rear quarter panel above passenger side has a dent. Front and rear bumpers look like someone attempted to paint them. The ABS light is illuminated currently but I have not gotten to look into that yet, probably a bad wheel sensor (seen them as low as 25 bucks on ebay). The HVAC also will only blow to the defroster, seems to be a common problem with these cars as the dash switch is vacuum operated and I didn't look behind the dash panel so it could be a loose line or something. I got this as a project but do not have time due to work on it so I'd rather see it go then sit in my driveway.

Ford recalling nearly 5,700 2014 F-150s for power steering issue

Ford is recalling 5,675 of its 2014 F-150 pickups over an issue with the electric power steering system. There haven't been any injuries or accidents due to the issue.
Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Autoblog that the "electric power-assisted steering and motor position sensor gear were incorrectly installed by a supplier," leading to the recall.
While the recall is larger on the surface, it's important to note that only 260 trucks have been delivered to customers. The remaining pickups are currently en route to dealers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 26 and June 19.

Ford C-Max, Fusion hybrids subject of MPG lawsuit in California

A California lawsuit over the fuel economy claims for the 2013 Ford C-Max was first reported back in December. Based on the numerous reports we've heard of disgruntled owners failing to get their car's EPA fuel economy ratings on the C-Max and 2013 Fusion Hybrid, we suspected there would be more to this story. The Detroit News is reporting that two California law firms are combining their lawsuits against Ford on this matter for "false and misleading" claims.
The article states that there are hundreds of C-Max and Fusion Hybrid owners who have joined the lawsuit, but the issue isn't limited to customers. In December, Consumer Reports extensively tested both the Fusion Hybrid and C-Max and found that both hybrids performed significantly worse than their EPA claims. This all comes just a few months after Hyundai and Kia took the unprecedented step of lowering the fuel economy ratings for all of their 2012 and 2013 model-year vehicles.

Ford invests $682 million in Edge-producing Canadian facility

Ford announced that it's investing $682 million in its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, Canada, to make it a global manufacturing plant, which the automaker also says secures 2,800 jobs there. Including this injection of cash, Ford has invested over $2 billion in Canada in the last decade, starting with nearly $1 billion for Oakville in 2004, and over $570 million for its Essex Engine Plant in 2010.
The move to make Oakville a global manufacturer of Ford vehicles means, "If consumers suddenly shift their buying habits, we can seamlessly change our production mix without having to idle a plant," says Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas.
Ford says that the latest investment will help it meet North American demand for the Oakville-produced Edge crossover, which is on track this year to beat 2007's US sales record of 130,000 Edges. The Ford Flex and Lincoln MKX and MKT are also manufactured at the plant.
