2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
Car is being offer for sale as is, without any warranty. It runs and drives like a champ. It's currently registered and driven every day. I have put a lot of money and care to bring this Beauty back to its life. Do not let the actual mileage fool you. The engine that was put in the car had only 105k miles at the time it was put on the car by professionals along with a lot of new parts like the upper intake, alternator, tensor and belt, valve cover and other gaskets. At that time the car had 224k miles with all original but the engine was blown. I do have the Vin# and report for the new donor vehicle and all paperwork, just ask if needed. After that it has been freshly painted outside and replaced headlights and its original white top with the current black one with a new rear glass. Front glass was also replaced. The car also has 2.5" Flow-masters cat-backs so it sounds very nice. The original white leather/vinyl seats were reupholstered three weeks ago with the two tone white and black vinyl with the pony logos as pictured. There is no check engine or warnings lights on, and everything electrical works as it should. See all actual pictures taken on 5/14/13 except the first two with the top up were taken before the seats were redone three weeks ago. Feel free to ask any questions. Toyota Camry, Honda Civic inventories mounting as US automakers make inroads
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Two of the hottest-selling cars in America aren't quite as hot as they used to be. The Toyota Camry and Honda Civic are both seeing dealer supplies increase in the face of renewed competition from the much-improved Detroit Three.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the Camry's dealer inventory is 15 days higher than its seasonal average, while the Civic is 25 days above average. Things aren't expected to get better for Toyota and Honda, as RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak marked the two Japanese offerings as "at risk for reduced output."
The Detroit Three, meanwhile, are seeing supplies dwindle as demand increases, especially for the Ford Fusion, which has seen an 18-percent increase in 2013 sales, and the Chevrolet Cruze, which was second only to the Camry in June 2013 sales.
Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
