1999 35th ANNIVERSARY FORD MUSTANG GT WITH SUNROOF (rare), ALMOST 130,000 MILES
This is an automatic transmission, just had new brake pads put on last week. Oil has been changed regularly. Car repairs kept up as needed. Great driving shape and has been taken care of. I am the 3rd owner and have had approx. 1 1/2 years. The first owner had about 4 years and second owner had 9 years. The second owner was an older woman who drove to tennis matches so she only put 25,000 of the original miles on the car in 9 years. This car is FULLY LOADED. LEATHER, POWER EVERYTHING, SUNROOF, POWER STEERING, CRUISE CONTROL, CD, FACTORY RADIO. The rear tires are in good shape but the front ones are about ready to be replaced. The only issue I can think of with this car is sometimes the mileage flickers and there are a few scratches on the paint. I have taken good care of this car and driven it with respect.

SORRY ABOUT THE INCORRECT INFORMATION IN THE PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION . I WAS TOLD WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR A YEAR AND A HALF AGO THAT THEY WERE THE 2ND OWNER BUT AS THE DETAILED REPORT SHOWS THAT IS INCORRECT. I PURCHASED THE CAR IN APRIL 2012 JUST DIDNT REG. IT UNTIL LATER BUT IT HAS BEEN A GREAT CAR AND I DRIVE 50 MILES TO WORK EVERY DAY SO I NEED SOMETHING THAT IS 4 OR 6 CYLINDER. ONCE AGAIN SORRY ABOUT ANY MISCONCEPTION. I DIDNT MEAN TO MISREPRESENT THE VEHICLE IN ANY WAY. THANKS

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.
Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.
