Up for sale today is a VERY RARE, Mustang LX 5.0 convertible that was special ordered in 1985 This is the last of the carbureted cars that Ford made, very rare and fast. There are roll up windows, A/C, cruise, it does have the original AM/FM radio that works. The original interior is in excellent condition, NO rips, tears or stains in the seats. These are getting very hard to find in original condition. These are going up in value and will be the next muscle cars you see featured on the TV Auctions. It has 76,000 original miles, Car rides and handles very well and is a lot of fun to drive. The vehicle has all its original Paint, Interior, motor, transmission and glass. All the gauges work as they should. Make No mistake this is a 1985 car that is 28 years old and it does have its share of dings and scratches, with that being said, it one of the cleanest all originals I have ever seen. The original top has some tears around the rear glass as seen in the pictures and the top will need to be repaired or replaced. The tires should be replaced as well due the age of them and the car sat parked for a few years. I have owned this car since 2005 and purchased it from Arizona. This is a great cruise night car that does get a lot of attention. The two in the garage are not for sale just looking to sell and buy a newer Shelby. Ford F-150 Tremor to pace NASCAR Truck Series this weekend
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Ford's bro-tastic F-150 Tremor will be pacing this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway. The Tremor fills a gap in the Ford F-Series lineup that we imagine the NASCAR set have clamored for - a hot-rod pickup truck.
Where the F-150 Raptor is designed to go quick on anything, the Tremor and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 are designed to tackle the road. The 365-horsepower and 420-pound-foot EcoBoost is unchanged from the rest of the F-150 line, but it combines the shortest drive ratio with the lightest two-door body, making it a bit of hot rod.
Ford will be offering hot laps with Michigan native Brad Keselowski behind the wheel of the Tremor for fans that arrive in the Irish Hills on August 14. The main showing for the new pickup will be the August 17 race, though, when it'll lead the field at the start of the race and through cautions.

Thu, 01 May 2014We've heard rumblings of a changing of the guard at Ford, and this live stream from The Blue Oval itself is set to confirm the rumors: Alan Mulally will be succeeded by the automaker's current Chief Operating Officer, Mark Fields.
Mulally, who is 68 years old, has served at the head of Ford for eight years, and his official retirement date will be July 1st, 2014. Fields, who is 53 this year, has been with Ford for 25 years and has been groomed to take the helm from Mulally for the last several of those years.

The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time.
