This is a numbers matching, authentic Mach I. I am just the 3rd owner of this is a 56,000 original mile car. It was originally purchased locally, and cared for meticulously since day one. Extremely rare color combo, and in my humble opinion, the nicest. Wimbeldon white, with red leather. It has the 302, C6 automatic combo, and both of them perform FLAWLESSLY. I can't emphasize that enough. One pump, she fires right up on high idle. Another tap, and it idles down perfectly. When it's warm, one touch of the ignition, and it starts like it's fuel injected. Just had a complete tune-up. Plugs, points, wires, cap and rotor, oil change, etc. Belts and hoses all recent as well. Without any exaggeration, this car runs, shifts, and drives PERFECT. There is ZERO slop in the front end. Very tight, and tracks and stops perfectly straight, It has drums all around, and the shoes, wheel cylinders, and tires are all less than two years old. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, which makes it really hard to to sell. Only selling because I need cash to put down on a house, or I'd be keeping this car for sure. The car was painted about 5 years ago, and the paint looks FANTASTIC. It was a professional, bare metal, $8,000 job. No checking, scratches, or swill marks whatsoever. The pictures don't do it justice. There are a few little nicks here and there, and a few bubble spots, but otherwise perfect. I took pics of the flaws. A few really small ones on the corner of the hood, and a spot on the bottom rear panel, for which I have a new patch panel. It's only a small area in the black portion. The other side is mint. One other small one next to the deck lid. All the chrome and stainless trim is excellent. The chassis, frame and floors are GREAT, with the exception of the area around the driver's floor. A small portion of the driver's floor is soft, but I have a brand new floor pan. The most common issue with these uni-body Stangs is the frame in the same area, near the steering box. The previous owner was smart enough to recognize it, and had a piece of channel professionally welded under and over it, so that it would NEVER be a problem. I took a pic of this as well. This car is VERY structurally sound, and there are NO other soft spots. The floors, trunk, doors, and rockers are all rock solid. Inside, it's very nice. Seats look almost new, door panels are nice, and the dash is almost perfect. I say almost because there is one small spider-sized crack. Very easy repair. Everything works. Lights, gauges, radio, horn, heat, etc. Windows all go up and down smooth, and all the glass is perfect. No cracks, nicks, or clouding. Even the weather stripping is all nice. The headliner needs replacing, and I have a brand new one. I also have a brand new black carpet set, with factory Mustang inlays. The carpet in it now is ok, but I planned on installing the new floor pan, so new carpet seemed logical. I also have a complete new dual exhaust, and the correct rear valance with the dual cut-outs. Nothing wrong with the exhaust on it now, just wanted duals. All in all, this a VERY nice, VERY sharp Mach, that with just a little more TLC would be a stunning car. It only needs a few things, and a good detail. Don't let the fact that it's a small block fool you. It WILL lay down a patch of rubber, and set you back in your seat when it drops down into passing gear. Best of all, it gets nearly twice the gas mileage of a big block, which means more time cruising. This is a real auction, which means NO RESERVE. High bidder drives it home. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it ANYWHERE. If needed, I will help in any way I can with shipping. Only cash or certified checks, and paid in full within 5 days. If you aren't sure if you will have the money, DO NOT BID. I have zero tolerance for having my time wasted. That all said, bid with confidence. No dissapointments with this beauty, and my feedback speaks for itself. Any questions, feel free to call or text me anytime. My name is Jim, and my # is (585)261-6547.

I just want to add a few things. The body on this car is lazer-straight! All the body gaps are perfect, and the doors open and close perfectly. NO drop in them at all, as is common in these heavy doors. The interior is darker than the pics show. More of a blood red. I also have brand new door sill plates. In all, I have close to $1,000 on extra brand new parts going with the car. It has power steering, but not power brakes. Don't let the manual brakes discourage you. This car stops GREAT. This being a 302 car, the front end is lighter, and these cars are light to begin with. What the 302 loses in a few horses to the 351, it more than makes up for in handling, gas mileage, and reliablity. I've owned some 50 classic and muscle cars, most of them very nice, and this is the best driving one I've ever owned. It's really hard to find an old car that doesn't have some issue with the front end, brakes, steering, vibration, etc. This one has NONE. It literally drives like NEW.

How that awesome Mustang R/C car chase vid was made
Tue, 06 Aug 2013We've reported on a few R/C car chase videos in the past. One in particular that stands out as a favorite is Zach King's "The Cliché RC Action Chase." It featured a pair of Ford Mustang coupes racing through a cardboard city, plowing into outdoor patios and busting through construction zones. It was wonderfully creative and fun to watch, yet we know there was more to its creation than a bunch of guys fooling around with a camera one afternoon.
Turns out we were right, as evidenced by this video produced by Ford that takes us behind the scenes of Zach's creation. The young filmmaker explains why he chose the Mustang to star in his video, as well as how the cardboard sets were created, what equipment they used for shooting and what it was like when his video went viral. Ford found the young filmmaker and produced the followup as part of its Mustang Countdown video series, which will see a new video about the Mustang culture released every week until the original muscle car's anniversary on April 17, 2014.
Want to make an RC chase video of your own? Yeah, we do too. Watch the behind-the-scenes video below (you can refresh yourself on the mini feature film, too) before you get started.
Woman reunited with stolen Mustang after 28 years
Sun, Dec 28 2014An enthusiast Christmas story: Salinas, California resident Lynda Alsip bought a 1967 Ford Mustang in 1984 when she was 17 years old, having saved $800 after a summer of toil at a grocery store. She got a vanity plate that read "LYNDA67," for the year she was born, but she only got to enjoy the car for two years: in 1986, after a night out, someone stole it from her apartment complex. She hadn't seen it since. Then a man – another Salinas resident – tried to register the car at the DMV this year. He said he bought it as a project car in 1991, yet the DMV couldn't find any record of it. The DMV office sent the case of the untraceable car to the California Highway Patrol, where Officer Christopher Menchen dug into the records, and his search paid off. The officer located Alsip's stolen record report from 1986 and connected the Mustang to it's registered owner in 1986, who was Alsip's mother. The CHP found the forest green Mustang in the man's garage, and they figure it's been there since 1991. After waiting through the still-ongoing three-month investigation, the CHP reunited Alsip – now a wife and a mother of two – with her car on December 22. It's undriveable, but her original vanity plate is back on and she plans to restore it. The video above has the story. MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang GT gets 810 hp and one lucky winner
Fri, May 22 2015Modern Muscle Design worked with the one and only Chip Foose to create this, the MMD by Foose 810-horsepower 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Several things will come of the collaboration, the best one for you being that you have a chance to win the coupe this Summer at the AmericanMuscle Mustang show in Pennsylvania. As of right now you can enter at the AmericanMuscle site, and if your name is pulled from the hat then MMD will fly you to the show in August and Foose will personally hand the car over to you. For everyone else, there is still plenty to pay attention to. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 gets 375 more horsepower courtesy of a modified 2.9-liter, twin-screw Whipple supercharger from Bama Performance. By the time those horses stampede down a carbon fiber driveshaft, MMD says there are 650 of them left to turn the 20-inch Foose wheels. If you want to take your own Mustang in this direction, there will be a selection of parts created for this car coming later this summer under the MMD by Foose banner, including the hood and side scoops, rocker panels, and chin spoiler. The show car also gets a Vogtland Sport Suspension and a Magnaflow Competition cat-back exhaust. Check out the press release below for more information. MODERN MUSCLE DESIGN AND CHIP FOOSE DEBUT 800+ HORSEPOWER MUSTANG IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang to be Personally Given Away by Chip Foose at AmericanMuscle's 2015 Mustang Show this Summer MALVERN, Pa. (May 20, 2015) – Modern Muscle Design (MMD), the leader in aftermarket Mustang styling, along with the renowned vehicle designer, Chip Foose, today unveiled a one-off 810-horsepower supercharged MMD by Foose 2015 Mustang GT at Foose Design Inc. headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. Today's reveal comes ahead of the annual AmericanMuscle Mustang Show in Pennsylvania where the custom-built Mustang will be given away. The 2015 AmericanMuscle Mustang Show is the 7th annual charity all-Mustang car show in which 10,000+ spectators and nearly 3,000 Mustangs gather to benefit this year's charity, Make-A-Wish®. At the heart of MMD by Foose is a 5.0 liter V8 engine producing more than 810 horsepower at the crank courtesy of a specially tuned version of Bama Performance's 2.9-liter twin scroll Whipple supercharger. After being routed through the transmission, a custom carbon fiber driveshaft and upgraded axles from The Driveshaft Shop, 650 horsepower reaches the custom 20" Foose Design wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.
