this is my 1969 mustang sportsroof or fastback. I purchased it to build a restomod but decided to restore a 69 428 cobra jet instead, so I must sell this one for the garage space for my new project.this car is a project that was started but never finished.it has a new quarter panel installed on the rear driver side,a new hood with a custom scoop molded on it mach1 dash and gauges with the woodgrain changed to red to match the paint and thats about how far it got.this car looks great the way it sits see pics but it does need a complete restoration. the front and rear frame rails are good so are the shock towers no rot or cracks torque boxes can be easily saved with a small patch. what it does need is floor pans, trunk drops, rear inner wheelhouses, has rust around where windshield goes and what you can see in the pics.you get the car as shown in pics plus all the parts the previous owner gave me on the tarp in the pics and i also have some boxes with even more parts in them.the car does not have a salvage title it has no title it was lost long ago,but the state police have verified it is not stolen, and a new title is easy to get.i will provide legal bill of sale.this car is being sold with no reserve so the highest bidder gets it.please e-mail me with any questions.

Ford builds one-off 50th anniversary Mustang Convertible for charity
Thu, 08 May 2014At the New York Auto Show this year, Ford revealed a special-edition Mustang to honor the iconic pony car's 50th anniversary. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples will be made, all of them fixed-roof coupes. But the Blue Oval automaker has just announced that it's also building a single 50 Years edition convertible that it will raffled off for charity.
The first production example of the new Mustang Convertible to roll off the line this fall, this one-off will pack many of the features on the 50 Years coupe, including its white paintjob, chrome trim, aluminum dashboard, two-tone upholstery, contrast stitching, special 19-inch wheels and special-edition badging throughout.
This unique cabrio will also be fitted with a special performance pack including Pirelli PZero rubber, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential to help get the 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque from the 5.0-liter V8 through the six-speed manual transmission and down to the road. It'll also feature a serial plaque with the number 0001 of 0001 and chairman Bill Ford's signature.
Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.
