1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2
with pony interior

This is a great '65 Mustang Fastback 2+2. The car sits nicely suited in its green metallic exterior color with
light ivy colored deluxe "Pony" interior. It is a true 2+2 pony car complete with the rear folding seat. It also
has the correct "C" code 289 engine with three speed automatic transmission and much desirable console as indicated
in its VIN number. It also features the more rare rear valance "trumpeted" exhaust exits.

This mustang is very presentable and turns heads everywhere you go. The body and undercarriage are very solid.
The paint is very nice and shiny with a few minute flaws here and there. The car is in its original color and
believed to have been repainted approximately eight years earlier. If you wanted to take the car to the next level
a brighter carpet and factory radio would suit her nicely. As the radio is not original to the car. I did not
have the heart to replace those items myself as the car breathes 1965 when you drive it, just as it is.

There are no known mechanical issues with the car. It has had recent brakes and all new fluids... so it is ready
to go! The trunk and metal there within is all solid. There is also a vinyl mat in the trunk and no spare. All
of the seating surfaces are very nice with no rips or tears. The seatbelts are also nice and are operational, as
well. The engine starts and runs beautifully and the transmission shifts perfectly as it should. The exhaust
sounds great and is recent with no leaks or issues otherwise.

NOTES: Please note that the mustang is for sale locally for $43,700.00 and is available for inspection. There is
also no warranty for the car due to its age. If you require shipping, I have shipped vehicles in the past, and I
will certainly help you every step of the way if necessary. I can coordinate any arrangements with your shipper or
we have a local shipper that comes highly recommended, as well. The winning bidder is required to pay the $250
deposit at the close of the auction. The balance due will be made payable by Certified Check, or wire transfer
within 48 hours.

2015 Ford F-150 appearance guide takes the truck from mild to wild with options

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

We already know that the 2015 Ford F-150 has a base price coming in at just $395 more than the 2014 model, despite all of the new standard tech and aluminum-intensive construction in the upcoming version. Now the Blue Oval is finally giving us an idea of what that extra money actually buys customers, with the release of the appearance guide for its latest pickup.
The guide basically explains everything you could want to know about what changes occur among the multitude of trims on the 2015 F-150. There are five levels for the new truck. Although, that is something of a misnomer because most of them are also available with either Sport or Chrome packages, plus the FX4 Off-Road option with Hill Descent Control, an electronic-locking rear axle, off-road shocks and skid plates. With 13 available colors, including 4 new ones, and 14 wheel designs in various sizes, pickup buyers should have no problem specing one to fit their style.
The lineup starts out with the base XL with a black grille and fascia and 17-inch wheels. However, across most of the range the Sport and Chrome packages are also available to add either body-color or chrome accents, respectively. Next up is the XLT with a standard chrome grille but also available with a black, billet-style one with a body-color surround. Things really start getting plush with the Lariat model with leather trim, a three-bar front end and 18-inch wheels. The King Ranch sticks with that look but adds power running boards, 20-inch wheels and two-tone paint. Finally, the top-dog Platinum is all about bling with yet another frontal design, chrome door handles and mirror caps, a big logo running across the tailgate and more.

Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.

Jay Leno takes a Surfin' Safari in a 1937 Ford Woodie Restomod

Tue, 21 Oct 2014

Woodie wagons were a major part of surfing culture in the 1960s, offering coastal style and a ton of room, and they even earned a mention in the Beach Boys' classic song Surfin' Safari. This week, Jay Leno's Garage takes a look at two modern, restomodded examples of these style icons.
Unlike a lot of restomods, builder Scott Bonowski keeps these wagons looking almost completely stock on the outside, and all of the upgrades are hidden underneath the timber. You can't tell by looking at it, but the '37 Woodie (pictured above) has independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes and a Ford 5.0-liter V8 under the hood.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, the craftsmanship into the wood is astounding. Bonowski claims there are between 30 and 50 coats of varnish on this wagon. It makes these woodies as much of a piece of fine furniture as a vehicle to drive.
