1965 Ford Mustang Coupe - Photo Documented Restoration

Re-Listing due to my error. I clicked on incorrect title information while generating the listing. Title is Clear. Sorry for the error and restarting the auction!
(I was temporarily an Idiot!)

Extensive Professional Grade Photo documented restoration - 40+ photos. This Mustang started with a 2 owner 50,200 actual mile car. Helen Anderson of Albany, California bought this Gem for herself June 3rd, 1965 at Cortese Ford in California. Ford Owner's Plan and Ford ID Card is still retained and included after all these years!  40+ photos of the restoration process. High Quality paint work performed in a White color with a slight pearl effect which is absolutely beautiful. A perfect color combination of White exterior and Blue interior sets this Mustang apart from all others. An automatic transmission, rebuilt 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder and power front disc brakes makes this Mustang a pleasure to drive around town. A rust free example of a classic car. This Mustang has an original Walnut steering wheel and factory Ford radio. Original Owner's manual from 1965. Low mileage Mustangs like this don't come around very often. Over $25k in restoration costs alone. Don't wait too long...and don't buy yourself a rusty, beat up, abused Mustang. Take this one and put her in your garage today. Ask yourself...how much would it cost for me to find a decent rust free - low mileage Mustang and pay to have it restored? Not to mention the hassle and the time. Well, you don't have to think to long on this one! This is one very, very nice Vintage Mustang!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!

SEMA crowns Mustang, FR-S as this year's hottest cars in the building

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

After wrapping up the first day of the 2012 SEMA Show, organizers handed out awards for some of the trendiest vehicles on display. Since the whole point of SEMA is to show off new products available in the aftermarket world for use in cars, trucks and SUVs, each year, the show distinguishes the most popular vehicle in various segments. Not surprisingly, this year's Hottest Car and Hottest Sport Compact are the Ford Mustang and Scion FR-S, respectively, while the Ford F-Series brought home the Hottest Truck and the Jeep Wrangler was named the Hottest 4x4-SUV.
More than 2,000 companies are at this year's show, and the display booths represents a "vote" for each car to determing the trendiest vehicles in each of the four categories. It isn't clear if these awards also take cars brought by OEMs into account, but the Mustang and FR-S were definitely well represented by both OEM and aftermarket show versions.
As usual, the OEMs showed up in force at the this year's SEMA Show exhibiting a variety of cars ranging from production-intent cars like the beastly Ford Mustang Cobra Jet to much flashier rides like Scion's Carbon Stealth FR-S.

Ford reveals concept trucks that ultimately became Atlas

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

The Ford Atlas Concept was one of the quiet success stories of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and now Ford has given us a quick glimpse as to how that creation came to be. Designers actually combined two early sketches to build the Atlas. One, called the Bullet Train, is a futuristic, aerodynamic creation, while the other, aptly named the Locomotive, features the squared off proportions we're familiar with.
Once designers settled on the truck's proportions, they began nailing down exactly which attributes they wanted the final design to have. The Concept's notched windshield originated as a forked glass roof that seamlessly transitioned into the windscreen.
Likewise, designers wanted to fit the truck's tailgate with a storage compartment for tools and a first aid kit, but settled on the dual-purpose step/cargo cradle. Interestingly enough, the concept's active aero shutter wheels actually originated in some of the earliest sketches. Check out the photos and slides here for a closer look.

2015 Ford Mustang revs it up at Cars & Coffee

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Just because the new 2015 Ford Mustang has officially been released, you didn't think that would be the end of the matter - did you? Of course not. There'll still be plenty of rumors, reports and video footage to bring you. Like this, the first non-official footage of the new pony car in the wild.
Shot by YouTube user SotA1080 and dug up by our friends at CarBuzz, this clip shows the new Mustang posing for photos (alongside other Mustangs) and starting up its engine at the most recent gathering of Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA. And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way. Scroll on down to watch the footage for yourself.
