Tired of showing up at the cruise night and someone having the same type of car as yours? THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! This is a one of a kind, custom '23 Ford T-Bucket powered by a Boeing 502 Turbojet engine.  This isn't some hack job that someone built in their backyard, this is a well engineered, thought out, aircraft quality built vehicle.  As you can see, everything is well laid out and engineered with much thought to the end vehicle.  Everything is either polished or chrome including a chrome rear end, front axle, springs, suspension links, tie rods, etc.

The power plant in this vehicle is a Boeing 502 Turbojet engine.  This engine was designed by the Boeing company in Washington state to be used in many different applications.  They have been used in everything from powering fire trucks, Kenworth road tractors/semis, large Navy minesweeper generator systems, and even powering the prop on small aircraft.  It has tremendous amounts of torque, so much as a transmission is not even needed.  All that is needed is forward and reverse and nothing else.

Everything for the engine is well laid out, including all stainless steel braided lines for the fuel system, aircraft quality wiring, relays, solenoids, and fuse blocks.  One of the attention-grabbing qualities of this T-bucket is the exhaust system, which diverts the heat to both sides of the vehicle.  To really impress everyone at cruise night, it also has a fire system designed to shoot fire out of both sides of the exhaust!

It has a deep, black finish in perfect condition.  A black leather interior sets it off.  Huge amount of gauges covering all aspects of the engine and vehicle performance.  Vehicle has rear brakes operated by foot pedal and also a power turbine brake operated by a T-handle in the center of the console.  Engine is operated by hand throttle in the console, just like an aircraft. Easy to start and drive.

It also has a funny car style Deist parachute to set off the rear end of the car.

Also included are a custom car cover, a custom charger for the battery system, complete service and parts manual, and a copy of the original Navy film showing service, maintenance, and operating instructions for the engine.

This is the kind of vehicle you would expect to see at a museum, Jay Leno's garage, a Barrett Jackson or Meccum Auto auction.

Note: The vehicle is not titled for street use, we just drove at car shows, cruise nights, etc. Ebay requires that something is entered on title status.  There is not a title for this vehicle at the present time.  There are many companies out there that will be able to help with acquiring for a custom built vehicle such as this, we never pursued it ourselves.   You may be able to easily acquire a title in your state on your own, as you know, each state is different.  If you have any questions about this, please contact us before bidding.

2015 Roush Stage 3 Mustang has 670 hp

Fri, May 8 2015

My last speeding ticket was nearly two years ago while behind the wheel of a 2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Considering the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 produced 575 horsepower – the lowest of the Stage 3's tunes – an encounter with the friendly folks at the Michigan State Police seemed inevitable. With the 2015 Stage 3 producing 95 more horsepower, if and when I drive the new supercharged 'Stang, another meeting with Michigan's finest seems likely. The combination of the Ford 5.0-liter V8 and a 2.3-liter TVS supercharger turns out 670 horsepower, which should have owners of the weightier Dodge Challenger Hellcat at least a bit nervous. All that power is complemented by 545 pound-feet of torque and what is almost certainly an ear-shattering exhaust note from the quad-tip pipes. On top of the RS3's trademark sound and speed, Roush has fitted the sixth-generation Mustang's body with a new "R7" aero kit that actually looks toned down from last year's car. 20-inch "Quicksilver" wheels are standard, although Roush is offering a pair of optional designs. Either way, Cooper RS3 tires are the rubber of choice. Prices for the Roush Stage 3 Mustang start at $21,995, not including the $32,300 starting price of a Mustang GT donor car. Scroll down for the official press release. The RS3 is cranking out a heart-racing 670 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque to deliver the ultimate driving experience. All 670 horsepower are created as a direct result of the powerful combination of Ford's 5.0L V8 engine with ROUSH Performance's dynamic new 2015 2.3L TVS supercharger. The new ROUSH Mustang's generous power ratings impeccably compliment the RS3's list of standard and optional features, including the ROUSH Quad-Tip exhaust (with optional ROUSH Active Exhaust System), standard single-adjustable coilover suspension system (or optional competition-tuned 3-way adjustable system), and the fierce new "R7" aerobody. The 2015 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is not just a car – it's an experience. The RS3 truly bridges the gap between road car and race car, putting drivers behind the wheel of the ultimate uninhibited muscle car.

Ford ready to install GE Wattstations at 60 locations in North America

Thu, Mar 20 2014

Upper-level Ford executives are sending mixed messages about the power of plug-in vehicles, but in the companies parking lots across North America, at least, the signal is clear: come on and charge your EV. Today, Ford and GE announced that the Blue Oval will be installing Wattstation chargers at its Dearborn HQ and will then add units at more than 60 locations across the US and Canada, including "offices, product development campuses and manufacturing facilities." If you're a Ford employee, then you get four hours of free charging a day. That should be plenty to top off any of the company's plug-in vehicles, even the Focus Electric, and the time limit encourages drivers to swap cars at lunch, because Ford wants to encourage charging station sharing and get more employees to plug in. Ford doesn't mention the DOE's Workplace Charging Challenge by name in the release (available below), but we suspect these Wattstations are part of that project. Ford was one of the founding members, joining the Workplace Charging Challenge on January 31, 2013. On that date, the Ford Motor Company and Ford dealers had over 1,750 charging stations installed on company/dealer property. Ford, GE WattStation Chargers Support Employee Electric Vehicle Charging Network Ford to install its first employee electric vehicle charging station network in Dearborn, Mich.; facilities across the United States and Canada to follow Ford will work with GE as its network provider and supplier of electric vehicle charging stations; networked stations will help Ford understand charging usage and plan for future installations Ford electrified vehicles have logged an estimated 65 million electric miles over the last 18 months. Ford now offers six electrified vehicles, including Focus Electric, C-MAX Energi and Fusion Energi plug-in hybrids, and C-MAX and Fusion hybrid vehicles Ford Motor Company in conjunction with GE, will supply vehicle charging stations at Ford facilities nationwide, beginning with facilities in and around its headquarters. The announcement continues the innovative cooperation begun more than 100 years ago between Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, co-founder of GE. This month, Ford will begin installing GE WattStation™ charging stations across its North American campuses, developing a workplace charging network at nearly every Ford facility in the United States and Canada.

2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 to start at $47,870 [UPDATE]

Tue, May 26 2015

UPDATE: After reaching out to Ford, we've been told by spokesman Said Deep that while the Blue Oval hasn't formally announced pricing for the GT350/GT350R, the document obtained by Mustang6G is accurate. Look for a second post when Ford makes its formal announcement at a later date. Ladies and gents, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 will be something of a bargain. Mustang6G has a leaked pricing sheet that indicates the base model will start at just $47,870, while the track-oriented R adds $13,500 to that price. Neither figure includes an $825 destination charge. That means that the high-performance Mustang will undercut, well, a lot of stuff. The GT350R is nearly $11,000 less than a Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and is $2,830 less than a base BMW M4. The standard GT350, meanwhile, slots below the base Chevrolet Corvette by $7,130, while the price should even be within the reach of some Camaro SS 1LE consumers. In short, the GT350 and GT350R should appeal to a lot of people based purely on price alone. With the previous leak on options pricing, figuring out the cost of your ideal GT350 requires nothing more than some simple addition. While a leaked document such as this is often met with an initial degree of skepticism, Mustang6G reports that the prices are real and are showing up within the Ford dealer system. Naturally, we've reached out to Ford in an attempt to confirm this report. Should they get back to us, we'll be sure to update this story. See Ford's comment up top. Until then, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the starting prices for the GT350 and GT350R.
