1925 Model TT Ford Stakebed

Hello, my name is chad, I'm a big Ford enthusiast.
I have several Fords and a few of them are Model T's.
I'm offering one of the nicest ones up for sale, to fund other projects.

So up for sale is a Nice solid Arizona truck, that has been in storage for several years.
It was purchased by an oil company owner to make a company advertisement parade truck.
The restoration was started on the truck and all the hard stuff was done before the owner died, so the family not knowing or having the time to finish even an easy restoration purchased a completed truck and sold this one.

The Ford 1 ton TT Truck runs good, (Video link will be attached or email me for it), drives, has 2 speed rear end, new wiring throughout engine compartment, rebuilt coils, several new parts throughout motor (I wouldn't doubt it was recently was rebuilt, because of the quality of the motor restoration that was visibly done), ooga horn, nice interior, nice top, good glass, good bed some of the stake bed is pretty dry and checked but is still solid, solid wheels, good tread on tires (a little dry checked...Nothing wrong with the rear wheels, they were just removed so it would fit under the door of the shop when we pulled it in), solid frame, Rare high end solid all steel body with steel doors (as opposed to wood) with little rust under the doors does not appear to be any rust through anywhere, older restoration with little fill, over all an easy restoration, or leave it the way it is for a rustic look, since it has been in storage for several years in an oil shop it has a cool holographic patina in the right light, that could also be buffed off.
Comes with clear North Dakota Title.

I think that covers it, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I posted the price according to what similar TT's have been SELLING for on eBay, but feel free to make an offer.

A nice Ford Model TT Stake bed truck to parade your friends and family around in
and soak up the nostalgic admiration of waves and smiles!

2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time

Thu, 20 Jun 2013

Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.

Jaguar design boss admits X-Type was a mistake

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

History has a way of repeating itself, especially in the auto industry. When Jaguar was owned by Ford, the British brand attempted to field a competitor for the BMW 3 Series, called the X-Type. Based on the bones of a Ford Mondeo, it aped the styling of Jaguar's flagship model, the XJ, while borrowing liberally from the Ford parts bin. That was 2001.
Now, in 2013, Jaguar is planning a new 3 Series challenger based on the platform previewed by the C-X17 Concept, while Ford is attempting to take the latest Mondeo upmarket. The moves have both brands recognizing where, why, and how the X-Type failed. "It didn't look mature or powerful or anything. It was just a car," Jaguar's current head of advanced design, Julian Thomson, told PistonHeads. Basing the X-Type on a front-drive car while giving it styling that was meant for a rear-driver lead to proportions that "were plainly wrong," Thomson told PH. Ford's European head of quality, Gunnar Herrmann, added that the X-Type was "a fake Jaguar, because every piece I touch is Ford."
For what it's worth, the X-Type's successor in the segment will sport rear-drive, with plenty of input from Ian Callum. Thomson described the new model, which would challenge the 3 Series as having, "Big wheels right to the ends of the car, low bonnet, short overhangs, very low cabins." Sounds good to us.

Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.
