Vin number is 8077199 Hello here for sale is my 1932 Ford T-bucket. This little thing is a riot to drive around town. This is by far my favorite toy I have ever owned. This car is very powerful Its got a 350 SBC mated to a Turbo 400 tranny. Did I mention this thing is fast. All the chrome on the car shines good. Even the chrome underneath the car, which is in really good condition. Paint is very shiny and has great depth, but like any car has a few blemishes not really noticeable. Very uncommon but sought after rear fender cover/flares for rear tires. Looks super cool. Looking at other t-buckets on the market this should run around 18000 dollars.... Looking to sell to make more room for my new toy. Which is why its priced so much lower for a quick sale. 80 percent tread left on tires all around. Never did any burnouts or trackedCa It, just used as a sunday car. Has an audio system with cd player/ radio. Has purple led underglow. Wheels are in very good condition. Car is turn key ready to drive. Transmission shifts great very easy to drive and engine runs strong. Car Cost over 20k to build. Car is sold as is. Non refundable deposit of 500 dollars due within 48 hours. Call me at 847 414 3709 Have a blessed day! |

Former Ford CEO Mulally won't run for president
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Alan Mulally will not be following his successful term as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company with a run at an even bigger presidency. Rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would make a run at the White House sprouted after his apparent dodging of a reporter's questions about a potential candidacy during a forum in Indianapolis.
"I really think it's important that we all pull together. We really need to pull together around a compelling vision for our country and a comprehensive strategy to do it and work together. We really need to do it," Mulally said at the conference, according to The Detroit News.
He's since clarified by saying, "[I'm] honored at the suggestion, but that is not a role I am considering."
Toyota, Ford decide to end hybrid collaboration before it starts
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Not all so-called Memorandum of Understanding pacts end in actual collaborations. For instance, after a two-year "feasibility study," Toyota and Ford have just announced that they will not be developing hybrid systems for use in light trucks and SUVs as previously planned, and the two automakers will instead continue to develop their own hybrid technology independently.
The would-be collaboration was first announced in August of 2011, and would have seen a rear-wheel-drive hybrid platform that would "improve the efficiency of trucks and SUVs while still allowing them to be driven in the way customers expect," according to our initial post on the topic.
Keep in mind that this announcement isn't to say we shouldn't expect hybrid pickups and SUVs from the two automakers, but that they probably aren't coming very soon - Ford says it will have a system "before the end of this decade" and we haven't heard much from Toyota on the hybrid truck front since the 2008 A-BAT Concept (pictured above) - and that they will not share any components between them (and they never have, for what it's worth).
Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City
Thu, 02 May 2013Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.
