For Auction is a 1909 Ford. It has a reproduction 1909-10 body on an early 1909-13 frame. The body was made about 25 years ago with buggy rail, new top sockets and wood bows. The body was painted with Dupont Centauri. New E&J 466 headlights, new E&J brass side and tail lights, new brass radiator. 6 rivet clamshell rear end and 2 piece drive tube, all original. Early original front end with 1 piece spindles, fine thread drag link. 1909-10 steering col. Open valve block #44289, repoduction by McTavish in the 1970's fully machined and fitted with a model C crank. Rebuilt rods, new pistons, rings and valves are included. Early head and timing cover. One piece pan is by Ron Brown. Also included is an original 1910 transmission , splash aprons, tail pipe and muffler, gas tank and all the seat springs. There is very little missing here, this is a very complete start to an early Ford. Email me for more pictures or questions. There is no title.

Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught

In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock

Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500.
