NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE!!! HIGHEST BIDDER = NEW OWNER!! AUCTION ENDS TUESDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 19, 9:15 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. Contact Clint at 610-763-8277 for more info! For your consideration is a beautiful
1930 Ford Model A Street Rod. By first glance, it has a Rat Rod look. But at
closer examination, this classic has a ton of money put into it, with the best
of the best parts and accessories used in the build. If you want to ‘blend in’
in a crowd, this may not be the car for you! At any angle, the Model A just
looks ‘right’. Quintessential in every aspect! A Throwback to a much simpler
time, that all of us would like to go back to! The build began August, 2006. It
took about 3 years to complete. There is about 450 miles on the build of this
car since its completion. It is a Bruiser Body, from Lake Havasu City, AZ. The
unfinished “rolling Chassis” and body shipped to the door was $16,800 in 2006!
Keep that in mind-unfinished! Without Engine, Trans, Interior, gauges, etc!
What increases the cool factor of this Ford is the 401 V8 Buick Nailhead
engine, with the 3 x 2 Carburetors, connected to a brand new Tremec 5 speed
Manual Transmission. I am unsure to the horsepower rating, but it is quick!
Smoke the tires fast, and won’t hurt you at the pump… A great combination!
Below I have highlighted the Specs & NEW
parts used in the build: Bruiser Enterprises Reproduction 1929
Model A 2 door Sedan Fiberglass Body with Steel Reinforcement. Painted Flat
Black with Satin Clear. 5” Chop, 4” Channel, with the Drilled Visor option. 401 V8 Nailhead Engine (from a 1963
Buick – mileage unknown). Tremec 5 Speed Manual Transmission. 4 “ Boxed Frame by Street Rod
Engineering, Painted Gloss Black. Rack and Pinion Cross Steering-
(Feels like Power Steering). 3x2 Offenhauser Intake and Rochester
Carbs. (Built by Automotion). Offenhauser Nailhead Valve Covers. Joe Hunt Magneto’s Electric
Distributor. Chrome Dropped I Beam Front Axle,
Hairpins, & Front Shocks. Chrome Coil Over Rear Shocks. 11” – 4 Wheels Disc Brake Kit with
Master Cylinder. 195/75/R15 Front. 235/75/R15 Rear
Coker Wide Whites. Red Powdercoated Steel Wheels, with
Chrome V8 Hubcaps. Ford 9” Rear end with 4:11 Gears. Functioning Moon Interior Gauges. Power Windows. Power Windshield Wiper. Flaming River Shorty
Chrome/Stainless Steering Column. 1932 Style Smooth Interior Dash. Hurst Shifter and Ball. Air Speed Indicator (Because Its
Different!) Altimeter (Which is a Clock) Both
located in Center Console. Alpine CD Player and Speakers. 14 Gallon RCI Fuel Cell. Optima Battery w/ Protective Plastic
Cover. Custom Airplane Style Black Leather
Interior with matching Headliner and Interior Door Panels, and Black Carpet. Custom Hand Painted & Cleared
Pin Striping and Nailhead. Over $50,000 was spent on the build.
I have a folder packed full of receipts to document the enormous investment put
forth to create this machine. Make no mistake, this car is the real deal that
will satisfy the fussiest buyer. It runs great! Straight down the road with no
shimmy or vibrations. With the small steering wheel, and rack and pinion
steering, makes this rod much easier to drive then you would think. And the distinct
sound of the Nailhead is just awesome. This is a tremendous opportunity to
acquire a turn key Street Rod and a fraction of the build cost, while not
having to wait 2 – 3 years to complete! I encourage &
welcome pre purchase inspections. I
will work with your inspector, appraiser, mechanic, etc to make you feel
comfortable with your purchase. Vehicle is sold AS-IS, NO Warranties
Expressed or Implied. I have clean clear title in hand. If you have less than 5 feedback, please
email prior to bidding. Please
ask any questions prior to bidding. Don't assume anything.
This is a legal binding contract. If you are the winning bidder, you are
obligated to complete the purchase. You are not bidding on the opportunity to
come and look at the vehicle and decide if you want to purchase the item! Also,
please have all financing or funds in place prior to bidding. In other words,
ask your wife first!! $1,000.00 Deposit due within 24 hours of auction close.
Balance due within 7 days of auction close. I urge everyone to
take a look at my feedback. Bid with confidence! It was 100% until a few weeks
ago, when a malicious ebayer left me negative feedback over a $45.00 die cast
model car! Apparently, a windshield wiper was damaged in shipping overseas. I
attempted to rectify the situation, but the buyer would not respond or contact
me at all, and left me negative feedback! Located
in Daytona Beach, Florida, 32118.
Minutes from major route 95 on the northeast coast of Florida. 10 minutes from (DAB)-Daytona Beach International Airport. 70 miles to (MCO)-Orlando or (SFB)-Sanford
International Airports. Fly in and Drive it Home! I will assist with selling worldwide, but payment and arrangements are buyer’s responsibility. I have used several shipping companies in
the past, and can recommend shippers to contact, or can be arranged right through
ebay and their recommended carriers. Contact Clint at 610-763-8277 for more info. I do not send second chance offers! THIS IS A NO RESERVE

Mustang, Camaro, Challenger gallop onto USPS pony car postage stamp set
Tue, Jul 19 2022Some of America's most iconic cars are about to be immortalized on postage stamps. A new set by the U.S. Postal Service will celebrate the the golden era of pony cars, featuring five classic examples of Detroit iron. Each one is beautifully illustrated in oil-on-canvas style, with subjects in motion and sunlight glinting off the chrome, and would add a nice touch to any first-class letter. The pony car segment was all about (relatively) small, sporty alternatives to the full-size land yachts of the 1960s. They typically came equipped with 6-cylinder engines or small-block V8s. The category was named after the Ford Mustang, hence the name. Some, though, argue that the Plymouth Barracuda, which was launched a couple of weeks before the Mustang, is the first. Luckily, the Falcon-based Mustang's distinct styling generated a sales sensation, or we might be calling them fish cars. Appropriately, one of the featured cars is a Mustang. But it's not just any Mustang. The 1969 Boss 302, seen here resplendent in Bright Yellow, was created for the hotly-contested SCCA Trans-Am racing series. One of its main rivals would have been the 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28, also created specifically for the series, and is included in the set in Fathom Green. Representing Auburn Hills in the set is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Plum Crazy, while Southfield's American Motors gets a nod with an AMC Javelin in Big Bad Orange. The Mustang's platform cousin, a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, is portrayed in a gorgeous Burgundy Poly that almost looks incomplete without Neko Case on the hood. It's not the first time the USPS has honored America's rich car culture on its stamps. In 2013, it issues a series of muscle car stamps with the help of Richard Petty. That set featured a 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1970 Chevelle SS, 1970 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda and, of course, a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Another set in 2016 featured classic pickup trucks. Going further back, a 2008 release had chroed and finned automobiles of the 1950s and a 2005 release featured sporty American cars of the same era. The pony car stamps will debut on August 25 at the Great American Stamp Show in Sacramento, California in partnership with the American Philatelic Society. The public is free to attend the dedication ceremony, but you must RSVP first. After that, they will be available at local post offices and on line at the USPS store.
2015 Shelby GT bows in Scottsdale with 627 supercharged ponies
Mon, Jan 19 2015Between the base V6, the EcoBoost turbo four, the eight-cylinder GT, the monstrous GT350 and the new GT350R (to say nothing of transmission and convertible options), muscle-car enthusiasts have a staggering array of Mustangs to choose from. And now there's one more as Shelby American has introduced the new 2015 Shelby GT. Building off the success of the 2007 Shelby GT and the 2013 follow-up, the new 2015 model was just introduced at the Ford booth at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ. It's based on the latest Mustang GT (whether factory fresh or commissioned from an owner's existing pony car) but upgrades with an enviable list of enhancements from Ford Racing Performance Parts, Shelby's own upgrades and top-shelf third-party components. For starters, the engine is supercharged up to 627 horsepower (with over 700 available through further upgrades). It's got 3.73 gears, a Borla exhaust, WELD Racing wheels, Michelin tires and Wilwood six-piston front brakes. Visual enhancements include a carbon-fiber body-kit (including a two-piece rear diffuser) and billet aluminum front grilles. Designed from the get-go to be sold around the world, the 2015 Shelby GT is certified for use in all 50 states and comes with a Shelby American CSM number registered in the company's registry, but all those enhancements don't come cheap: Shelby's charging $39,995 for the new GT, and that's just for the modifications. Add that to the $32k sticker on a Mustang GT donor and you're looking at over $70k – which is not only more than Ford itself is expected to charge for its own GT350, but more than Dodge gets for a Challenger Hellcat. (CSBI:PK), launched the first global Shelby GT muscle car, which is based on the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT. One of the most popular cars in Shelby history the 627 HP 2015 Shelby GT was unveiled today at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in Ford Motor Company's booth. Shelby is now taking orders with delivery of cars planned for the beginning of the second quarter of 2015.
