1929 Model A Sport Coupe Rat Rod. This car has a fully boxed Model A frame with a narrowed 9" Ford rear. The car has a Speedway front axle. There is a slick running basically stock 350 engine and a 350 Turbo transmission. The car has old school Stewart Warner gauges. This car has aftermarket wire spoke wheels that look just like the original ones with new Wide Whitewalls. The car has Lakester style headers with baffles. This car was a Sport Coupe and has had the top removed. I do not have the top for it. There is also a rumple seat. As you can see from the pictures the car has had old style pinstriping and graphics painted all over. This is a very unique Rat Rod and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. I have a clear Va. title in my name for the car. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will be glad to tell you whatever I can about the car. I will require 10% deposit through Paypal within 3 days of auction end and the balance within 10 days. The buyer is responsible for pickup and I will gladly assist with loading. Any Checks will have to clear my bank before the car or title will be released. This can take up to 10 days. I may consider a partial trade for a T or A Model 2dr. Sedan. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

2015 Shelby GT350 Mustang sounds racy as it revs [UPDATE]
Thu, May 21 2015UPDATE: It seems as though the GT350 exhaust was just too hot for YouTube. The video has been removed, as you can see. We'll keep combing the Interwebs for a new version. If you're somehow still on the fence about the 2015 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang, then this video should provide some healthy encouragement about the new coupe. There's no high-speed action here, but you get to experience the wonderful sound of the GT350's 5.2-liter V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft start up, idle and throw some revs. At a twist of the key, the engine barks to attention, and a wonderfully crisp shriek comes from the exhaust when the driver blips the throttle. The GT350 even has a growly baritone at idle. According to the YouTube description, this car was on hand at the Carroll Shelby Tribute and Car Show in Gardena, CA. Unfortunately, videos online might be the best chance for many people to hear the wail of the latest GT350 for now. Ford is only building a total of 137 of them for the 2015 model year, but the numbers should pick up when the 2016 model year begins in just a few months.
Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.
Ford recalling 126,000 Fusions and Milans over wheel separation concern
Fri, 09 Dec 2011Ford has announced a recall of certain Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan vehicles after an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A total of 128,616 2010 and 2011 models equipped with steel wheels may have been manufactured with wheel studs that could crack and split over time. If that happens, the vehicle may experience a wheel separation.
According to The Detroit News, the company is aware of a total of 30 wheel separation incidents, one of which occurred on the front of the vehicle. Even so, no injuries have been reported as a result of the defect.
The problem apparently stems from the fact that the mounting pads on the vehicles' steel wheels may have been faulty from the factory. In addition, the wheel mounting face on rear disc brakes may not have been installed properly. Ford will inspect the rear disc face and replace them as necessary. In addition, the company will replace all of the vehicle's wheel studs free of charge. Head to the NHTSA website for more information, and click past the jump to view the full recall notice.
