Motor: THE MOTOR IS A: 305 CHEVY V8 WITH A VERY MILD CAM. STARTS RIGHT UP AND IS A REAL DRIVER. I HAD THIS CAR ON THE THRUWAY AND SHE RUNS GREAT!
Transmission: Transmission is a 350 automatic stock converter just built to drive not to race. Shifts on time and correctly. Rear End: Ford nine inch with coil over set up. Has a nice highway gear will cruise at 55mph easily steers straight and true. Brakes: Drum all the way around won't stop on a dime but will stop on a quarter. She would make a great disc brake conversion rod. Interior: Restored velour style with seats, doors, head liner two tone to blend with the outside real comfortable. I'm very close to 6 feet very comfortable to ride get in or out and plenty on head room. Tilt out windshield and Stewart warner gauges. recent work: Days old flaming river powder coated tilt column to a mustang box. New starter and Alternator. All new ignition also updated with wires plugs , 65000 volt coil. I replaced the valve covers and gaskets along with the air cleaner with the finned look. I updated the carb with a new polished Edelbrock 500cfm electronic choke and battery. All this work is days old to only a couple weeks on some of the other stuff.
What does the car have extra: I have the side panels to the engine bay. I have the front bumper. I have new dog dish caps that give current rims that smoothie look if you prefer that.
Car has an electric fan for warmer days I installed a 160 thermostat but run the fan regardless due to the 90 degree heat we have had with no issues. Fluids where changed at the beginning of the cruise season all lights high and low beam left and right turn work as they should. tilt works perfectly. 4 ways and horn too.
DRAWS PEOPLE IN AT ALL THE CRUISE NIGHTS. SOLID DRIVER NOT A ROT BOX UNDER THE CAR, PRESENTS ITSELF WELL AND IS ALL STEEL AS WELL AS RUNNING BOARDS. ROOF WAS FILLED WITH A EARLY 70'S VAN RIBBED ROOF LOOKS FANTASTIC!
PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS NEEDED BEFORE YOU MAKE A BID. NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING. I WILL ANSWER ALL EMAILS AS SOON AS I CAN.
LIKE ANY CAR LOVINGLY ENJOYED, IT GETS DRIVEN AND WILL HAVE MILD NICKS OR DRIVER WEAR. EXPECT A USED ROD! THIS WAS NOT BUILT TO BE TRAILERED TO EVENTS. WAS NOT BUILT AS A PROM QUEEN. EXPECT A DRIVEN CAR AND YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED. CARB HAS FAST IDEL ON START UP SO ONE REV AND IT KICKS DOWN FINE, ONCE IT IDELS FOR A COUPLE MINUTES GOOD TO GO! A REAL PLEASANT DRIVER WHICH STARTS EASY AND RUNS DOWN THE ROAD VERY NICELY.
NO GAMES NO JOY RIDES. IF YOU COME SEE IT AND TRY TO PICK IT APART OR HOPE TO STEAL IT. I WILL CLOSE MY DOOR. LEAVE THAT TO THE FAKE T.V. SHOW CLOWNS. I'M THE REAL DEAL BE REAL TOO. THE RESERVE IS FAIR. BUT BE REALISTIC. YOU WON'T TOUCH ANOTHER ALL STEEL THIS NICE FOR MY RESERVE. NO YOU WON'T GET IT FOR 10 GRAND OR EVEN 18. SO WE CAN ELIMINATE THOSE QUESTIONS RIGHT AWAY.
HAPPY BIDDING.
GOD BLESS.
ONLY THE DEPOSIT WILL BE ACCEPTED BY PAYPAL. I WILL TAKE THE REMAINING BALANCE BY WIRE TRANSFER OR CASH ONLY!

Why the 2015 Detroit Auto Show will be the best since The Crisis
Tue, Dec 30 2014The Detroit Auto Show clearly has its swagger back, and the 2015 edition will be a veritable feast for the enthusiast senses. We're talking serious performance, and it will be exhibited in a variety of forms. Sports cars. Supercars. Muscle-bound luxury cars. They're all set for splashy debuts in January in the Motor City. It's another signpost that companies have recovered from the global economic crisis that gripped the industry from 2008-09. For a while, automakers played it safe at Detroit and other shows. Environmentally friendly cars were important, especially for General Motors and Chrysler that were living on loans from Uncle Sam. Ford, Toyota and other companies generally focused on their best-selling or core models. With a few notable exceptions, recent auto shows have been a bit more buttoned-down than in the past. Boring probably isn't the right word, but austerity has been reality. That's changing. Car companies are making money. Sales are up. Aside from the many nagging recalls – and they are notable – the industry now has the time and energy to make performance cars a priority. That will be offered in hard evidence in Detroit. A year from now when we look back at this auto show, we'll sum it up with one word: Horsepower. But make no mistake, this isn't frivolous. Sports and luxury cars are expensive. They're profitable. They boost images and highlight strengths. With that in mind, here are five significant performance-oriented reveals to watch for when the show kicks off in less than two weeks. 2016 Acura NSX Acura's reborn NSX is a strong bet to earn plenty of votes for our Editors' Choice awards. It's one of the most anticipated – and strung-out – reveals of the year. Think back: we actually saw an NSX concept at the 2012 Detroit show, and Acura has spent the last three years teasing the car in a variety of ways. The slow burn, however, means we know a lot about the NSX. It's will use a mid-mounted twin-turbo hybrid powertrain and run with all-wheel drive. It will also wear an innovative zirconium e-coat paint, a new paint process that Honda says is more environmentally friendly. Honda has also said it will build the new NSX in Ohio, where a large part of the car's development work has been done. The original NSX was produced from 1990-2005 and helped establish Acura's performance credentials in the United States. It was a landmark car and a shot across the bow of Ferrari, Lamborghini and others.
Are we about to see a real SUV revival?
Wed, Mar 23 2016Now that the marketplace has been oversaturated with cute-utes, crossovers, and CUV coupes, are we about to see a resurgence of real, honest-to-God SUVs? Ummm... maybe. The stars seem to be aligning in that direction, at least that's the sense I'm getting. We know an all-new Jeep Wrangler is only a few auto shows away; and that Jeep is about to introduce a new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk for 2017, in the same rugged spirit of the successful Cherokee and Renegade Trailhawks. Ford has hinted at a neo-Bronco, after showing the concept above in 2014 to wet the mouths of all those Duck Dynasty-types out there. And, and... wait for it... I recently learned that Subaru sent a questionnaire out to some Forester owners asking if they might be interested in an off-road package if it were offered. The items listed were pretty hardcore, serious stuff, such as: integrated tow/recovery hooks, additional ground clearance, more rugged wheels, skid plates, altimeter, front-view off-road camera, improved approach and departure angles, advanced differentials, Inclinometer, full-size spare tire, upgraded off-road suspension components, more aggressive tires, off-road driving mode (engine, transmission, throttle, and steering settings), more rugged styling, low-range gearing, and a more advanced traction management system. Folks that's not my wish list (well, actually it is), but those are words from Subaru, asking if that's what customers would like to see. Need proof? Go to the SubaruForester.org website. It's in a discussion there. So... no promises or guarantees here, and feel free to call me a rumormonger if you like; but the next few years could prove very interesting for those who actually do go off road. If this pans out, remember, you read it here first. Related Video: Image Credit: Ford Ford Jeep Subaru Crossover SUV Off-Road Vehicles open road
