1930 Ford Model A Coupe Rumble Seat Original Rebuilt Engine New Interior Look on 2040-cars
Bremen, Georgia, United States
|
This is a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe with Rumble Seat. It is original and in very good condition. The original 4 Cylinder engine has been rebuilt and runs smooth. It has its original 3 speed manuel transmission. It has a new water pump and new battery. The interior has been recently redone and looks great and was done back as original style. It still retains its original gauges and floor crank. It has a special Exhaust heater that puts out heat into the cab to keep you warmer and the heat comes off the engine. This car has had 1 re paint and it has been a few years back but the paint has actually held up nice. It has a few scratches and chips but still shows well. Very solid ALL STEEL car with no rust issues known. This car was a 2 owner car before we bought it so we are its 3rd owner. The tires are in great shape and good to go. The Rumble Seat pulls up easy and the cushions are done it black. No rips or tears on Rumble Seat either. The bumpers also look good. These coupes with rumble seats are getting hard to find especially in this condition.
I reserve the right to end auction early if car sells locally. Sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are welcome and encouraged!! This car is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia WILL NOT issue a title on a car this old. You will be able to get a title in your state or country with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about that. Thanks for looking!! |

'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
US Ford Focus RS to be imported from Europe
Tue, 21 Oct 2014Rumors about the forthcoming Ford Focus RS are flourishing into what sounds like a very impressive new hot hatch. The latest scuttlebutt gives the first indication about when we might see a few of these fast Focuses on roads here in the US.
Unnamed insiders reportedly confirmed to The Truth About Cars that Ford plans to launch the Focus RS in the US in 2016. However, getting one might not be so easy - the boosted powertrain means the car would likely need to be imported from Europe. That's likely going to keep the total number available in the US rather low. The sources estimate a price tag that's a bit more expensive than the top Focus ST3, which starts around $28,500, plus $825 destination.
It seems that a pretty potent package comes for all of that cash, though. The Focus RS reportedly uses a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making between 325 and 350 horsepower, with a torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system to get that muscle to the road. The test mules also wear more aggressive front and rear fascias, dual exhaust tips, larger brakes and sticky tires. It sounds like a great formula on top of the already enjoyable Focus ST.
