Here you go folks; a 1930 Ford Model A 5 window all steel coupe! This coupe is exactly where everyone wants to start. Its all original with that great "PATINA" (the old skool guys call it "wear and tear")! It isn't perfect by no means, as I've taken pictures of areas that you may want to tackle, or just leave it and drive. I don't want to use the word "Rat Rod" because this coupe is much better than that. It has all 4 original fenders that appear to be rust free. The lower cowl area, small lower section of the trunk lid, leaded seam areas on both side of the roof panel, are showing "character!" The paint has scratches and chips throughout as pictured. Frame, front and rear axle all look good. For the picky eye, looks great at about a mile and a half away! But for someone just looking to get in a 5 window coupe and drive, you'll fall in love with it immediately! Overall, this 83 year old car is solid.
All glass is good, door windows roll up and down, and the windshield kicks in and out and latches as it suppose too. All gauges (speedo, volts, fuel), lights, horn, work as they should. New tail lights installed recently. New chrome dash bezel, wire harness, generator cut out switch, battery cut out switch, 6V battery all installed within the last year.
Engine cranks up and runs real good. It isn't a speed demon, but cruises in 3rd gear about as good as it gets. New water pump installed. All brakes work as they should and stops as easy or as hard as you can apply manual pressure! Has the optional windshield wiper that also works.
The interior is complete and in decent shape. Cabin seat doesn't have any rips. The rumble seat is in good shape, but gray in color. I bought this recently here off ebay.
Has 5 new Goodyear all weather 4.75-19 tires and tubes, purchased within the last year. This coupe looks to have been restored probabaly in the mid 80's.
All in all, you can get in her and drive today, enjoy the waves from folks, and put her back in the garage. Or, you can make one hell of a custom rod out of it, the choice is yours. VA Plates and tool box do not go with the car. Enjoy the auction and good luck!

Thanks for all the questions. I'll try to answer them each evening; Yes, the 30 is road worthy and is driven around on weekends. No, I don't have any extra body panels, but have a couple extra generators (1 generates but bad bearings, 1 bad), 2 extra gen cut outs (1 good, 1 not sure), a new pair of alunimun Ford door sill plates. No, I won't take $5K for this one (he must have thought I missed my nap). Not interested in any trades or payment plans. Sell only in United States. Thanks again for all the interest. Good Luck.

Ford Mustang GT Bi-Fuel CNG
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Highly intrigued, we recently visited a Southern California Gas Company office to check out several hybrid vehicles promising something new. Unlike more commonplace gasoline-electric hybrids, we were there to evaluate innovative gasoline-compressed natural gas (CNG) hybrids - yes, they run on unleaded gasoline and compressed natural gas. According to the experts on hand, this arrangement delivers extended range and reduced emissions while chipping in with lower operating costs than pure-gasoline vehicles. There are advantages over its gasoline-electric counterparts, as well.
The program is part of a three-way collaboration between The Carlab, a Southern California-based automotive consulting firm, Landi Renzo USA, a company specializing in alternative fuel solutions, and America's Natural Gas Alliance, a group that promotes CNG. Long story short, the team has engineered a way to allow a modified internal combustion vehicle to seamlessly switch between two fuels (gasoline and CNG) with no driver intervention. In theory, and if it works as well as promised, it's a win-win for the vehicle owner and the environment.
Parked at the Gas Company office were six different gasoline-CNG hybrid vehicles. To demonstrate the technology's versatility (just about any gasoline vehicle may be modified) Carlab brought a varied assortment of bodystyles, each from a different automaker. After taking a quick glance at the half-dozen in the parking lot, we made a beeline for the performance-oriented Ford Mustang GT - a 2012 model - with the six-speed manual gearbox.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
