This is a 29 Ford Roadster Pickup was built a while back in the old school way. Over the years it has been in the hands of three well known hot rodders who have each been worthy caretakers of this authentic Hot Rod!
The only modern element is the disc brake outfit sitting on the 4 inch dropped axle out front. Drum bakes in the rear are from a 46 Ford and are spun by the 4:11 Model A banjo. The 4 banger has a Winfield Head. The dual "81" carbs are mixing up the gas into a Burns intake manifold. "Reds" headers are spitting out the exhaust through a glasspack muffler. It's a 12 volt electrical system with a "B" distributor and newer points.
The 39 Ford gearbox is modified to fit the  "A" bellhousing. The real deal on the wheels - bent spoke Kelsey Hayes rims are sporting big and littles. Drives and steers easy with the "EZ" steering box (Ohio) by "Hot Rod John".
This little hot rod start and stops like you want it to. It's a fun ride and will get the attention it deserves. It's a true RockABilly Hot Rod! Cash in hand gets a California Pink Slip for a 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup!!
This car can be delivered to your door for $1.00 a mile - anywhere in the lower 48 of the USA.
Watch this video to see the car in action. Thanks to The Ragtime Wranglers for the music.

On Sep-25-13 at 23:18:45 PDT, seller added the following information:

The original Henry Ford body has no rust and never has had any rust - It's always been solid and still is. Two coats of red Rustoleum look good and authentic on this old school rod. The motor was rebuilt by the expert and has very limited local miles on the rebuild.

Next Ford F-150 delayed for aluminum body panel issues?

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The timetable for next-generation Ford F-150 may be in trouble if a report from The Truth About Cars is true. The next F-150 is slated to make extensive use of weight-saving aluminum in its body, but the aluminum alloy provided by suppliers hasn't met Ford's requirements in the earliest phases of pre-production, according to the report.
The F-150 represents a huge portion of Ford's profits and is the best-selling truck in the US, even in the face of increased pressure from cross-town rivals General Motors and Ram. While the current truck is treading water against its competition, we'd be lying if we said the F-150 weren't growing quite long in the tooth.
If production of the next-generation of the Ford cash cow, said to be based on the Atlas Concept from the 2013 Detroit Auto Show (pictured above), is delayed, it could be bad for Ford. Production at Ford's Dearborn Truck Plant is already set to be delayed six to ten weeks, missing an internal on-sale deadline of Memorial Day.

Mustang-themed pinball game debuting in Chicago [w/video]

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

Believe it or not, but new pinball machines are still being made. Chicago-based Stern Pinball still makes them and has found a niche selling modern machines to individual buyers and arcade distributors. For its latest cabinet, Stern partnered with Ford to create a pinball game that pays homage to the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, including the next generation. The new machine is being unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show on February 6 and goes on sale in March.
Stern is offering the machine in three variants. The pro-level machine is meant for arcades and public spaces and retails for $4,995. All of them come with background and cabinet art by Camilo Pardo, who designed the Ford GT, and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust is the game's announcer. Depending on where players shoot the ball, they activate events that simulate drag racing, rallying, drifting and racing the Mustang, and hitting targets lets players shift the gears up and down.
An upgraded, premium table with added art will be added later for pinball machine collectors. The third model is a signed, special edition with art of the 1965 Mustang and 2015 Mustang on the machine and chrome and Mustang badges on the speaker grilles. Prices for these editions will be announced later.

2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time

Thu, 20 Jun 2013

Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.
