1929 Ford Model A Woody

This is a 1929 Ford that the original body was removed and a replaced with a home made "Woody " body.  The craftsman did a fair job, but not great.  As it sits, it is more of a "fun" car for parades.  It is not street legal as is.

This vehicle last ran about 5 years ago when I purchased it.  I was going to redo the whole car into a decent looking vehicle.  Too many projects and I am out of room.

What it needs: Almost everything.  The sheet metal needs removing the old paint, fixing dents, and repainting.  The wood body is a very amateur build.  The plywood panels were made from cheap plywood, and the trim has much wood filler where the screws are.  This could be an easy fix by painting the plywood a dark color, and replacing the old screws with brass screws.  The tires are fair, the rears are snow tires.  I would replace all tires.  The wheels are of a later date, not model A wheels.  The interior needs painting, and the seats appear to be from a Jeep.  There are no side windows, the only glass is the windshield.  There is no windshield wiper.  The lights need to be rewired.  The tailgate does not go down.  There is no battery.

The good: It should run with minimal work.  The brakes work.  Trans is OK.  It has been stored indoors since built.

Vehicle is sold with a bill of sale, as New Hampshire is a non title state for vehicles over 25 years old.

On May-03-13 at 05:44:17 PDT, seller added the following information:

There is/was a "Buy It Now" for $3500.  The offer still holds.  Since there is no "Buy It Now" to hit, first email with deposit money, gets it. Deposit money must be paid before auction terminates.

Vehicle is in North Woodstock, New Hampshire 03262.  It is about 2+ hours north of Boston, 6 hours from NYC.

Other vehicles in the pictures are not for sale !!

Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.

Motorcycles and cars star in strangest drift battle ever

Thu, Sep 17 2015

You really don't need a coherent plot to make a fun drifting video, and that's exactly the case with this clip from Icon Motorsports. Running over dirt, racetracks, and even Miami freeways, it features two generations of tuned Mustangs, a mean-sounding reverse-trike, and some high-powered bikes sliding around. The attempted story is fairly vapid, though. Things veer into the weird when Dax Shepard arrives to beat up an old BMW 7 Series by taking the big sedan off-road. Thankfully, the cinematography makes up for the plot shortcomings, and the drifting at least looks great on camera. It's always cool to see a mix of cars and bikes sliding around together in such close proximity. Just as a warning before clicking play, there's some not-safe-for-work language and humor in the video. This isn't the first car vs. motorcycle vs. whatever drifting video that's run on these pages, most from Icon. Here are links to the first, second and third installations in the series. As you can see, each new incarnation is a bit more outlandish than the last. And somehow, we'd wager that this fourth video probably won't be the last, either.

Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
