The dash pad needs replaced I have owned this car since may 1999 it had no rust or door dings when I bought it. I did have it repainted because the paint was dead. just this past year I notice it is starting to get a small (half dollar) size spot or rust on the drivers side in front of the rear wheel and a spot about the same size on the passenger side behind the rear wheel."
I took this car to a local body shop to get an estimate to fix the two spots of rust that are developing on the rear quarters. I told him that this car didn't have any bondo on it. After checking my car over completely he said "this is the cleanest old ford I've seen in years" And it is clean there isn't any rust on the underside of this car. I've owned this car since May 1999 and put a little over 2000 miles on it during that time. It has always been stored inside never been in snow or rain since I've owned it. I bought this car in Michigan from a dealer that specializes in classics that be buys in the South. This one came from South Carolina. I have the orginal owners manual and warranty card. NHTSA closes rollaway investigation into 1.56M Ford SUVs
Mon, 11 Mar 2013It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
The probe, which centered on the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, ends without the federal agency calling for a recall. According to The Detroit News, the investigation was closed due to a "low number of complaints" - NHTSA documented 180 such complaints that resulted in 14 crashes and six minor injuries, but the number of incidents have been slowing. The suspected defect rate for the trucks' automatic transmissions was found to be 4.4 per 100,000 units, and the brake-shift interlock mechanism failure rate was judged to be even lower at 3.4 per 100k.
FL man fatally shot after urging driver not to do donuts in a Mustang
Tue, 18 Nov 2014Bradley Holt (pictured), the older half-brother of University of South Florida freshman quarterback Quinton Flowers, was killed in a random act of violence last week.
The 24-year-old Holt was throwing a football around with local kids in Allapattah, a neighborhood in Miami, when a yellow Mustang showed up and started doing donuts in the street. Holt, worried about kids playing in front his apartment complex, walked over to the driver and asked him why he was "driving so crazy with so many kids out here?"
The driver left. Holt's sister said the driver came back "about 15 to 20 minutes later" and fired two shots at Holt. One of them hit Holt in the back of the head, killing him.
Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect

Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
