1966 Ford Galaxie 500 Xl Fastback, Green W/ White Interior, Car Hot Rod Rat Old on 2040-cars
Buffalo, New York, United States
Engine:351 Windsor
Drive Type: Automatic
Model: Galaxie
Mileage: 1
Trim: 500XL
It's a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. Previous owner painted it 11 years ago. Good solid running car. I have it inspected and insured, and currently drive it. Tires have good tread left. Engine is not original, but is a 351 Windsor with a ford-o-matic automatic transmission. Interior is white and is out of a 1965 Galaxie 500XL. Bucket seats are black with white slip covers over them to match the rest of the white interior. Car comes with a bunch of parts the previous owner collected at swap meets from the years. I'm 3rd owner, last guy had it 24 years, and did all the work to the car. Has power steering, not power brakes. Runs like a bear, radio works too! Any questions, or if you'd like to come and see it, feel free to ask! E-mail me or call/text Matt @ 7one6-9zero1-39nine4. (Made the phone number like that because when I sold my Jeep last year, had a ton of spam phone calls)
Local pickup at my house. If you want a shipping company to come, that's fine too. I accept CASH or PAYPAL. I helped my friend sell his Monte Carlo, and 3 fake checks later, he finally got it sold to someone with cash. That's why no checks or money orders.

Ford Explorer gets appearance pack for 2015
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Remember when Ford launched the totally new Explorer in late 2010, and people were skeptical about how the now-crossover would fare, after ditching its traditional SUV roots? Well, we're several years in, and I think we can assuredly say that Ford made the right decision. Sales are better than ever (in fact, May was the current Explorer's best month yet), and the crossover is finding its way into the hands of a whole host of new Ford buyers.
A wholly refreshed Explorer is still forthcoming, but to keep its strong-selling crossover fresh, Ford is offering a host of improvements for the 2015 model year, including the attractive appearance package available on the XLT trim level, pictured above. Outside, the pack gets you goodies like 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, black bodyside cladding and roof rack rails. Contrasting Magnetic Metallic accents are found on the grille, mirror caps and liftgate appliqué, and there's an "Explorer" hood badge and body-colored door handles. Inside, there are new Miko suede inserts in the seats, and the package includes the automaker's Sync connectivity with MyFord Touch infotainment.
Elsewhere in the Explorer range, the Class III trailer tow pack is now standard on the Sport, base models get new 18-inch aluminum wheels, and there are three new colors on offer: Bronze Fire Metallic and Magnetic Metallic.
Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn
Sun, 30 Mar 2014Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
