2014 Ford Fusion SE 2.5 4cyl. with 6 speed automatic transmission. Only has 14,472 miles. Equipped with Sunroof, Sync (Bluetooth), garage door opener, 17" aluminum wheels, dual power heated mirrors, 10 way power driver seat, A/C climate control, rear a/c ducts, tilt steering wheel with cruise & audio controls, 6 speaker AM/FM CD MP3, Sirius sat. radio, power windows, power door locks, rear window defroster, and remote keyless entry. Comes with the owners manuals, window sticker, and factory floor mats. The window sticker shows MSRP was $25,645. also shows combined fuel economy 26mpg 22 city and 34 highway. Comes with 2 keys. Now for the bad. This car has damage to the left front end and will need the following parts to repair...Hood, front bumper cover, left headlight, left fender, outer chrome grille surround, and lower chrome cross bar on grille. May need more pieces on the grille hard to tell without taking apart. The left fender in my opinion is repairable. The upper radiator support is cracked but may be useable. The lower grilles look good. It looks like the bumper rebar and frame horn is good it does not look bent. May be some more small pieces behind the headlight that need replaced. All the cooling looks good. The radiator is full of coolant and the A/C blows cold air. I have drove this car around my lot it runs great. It will also need the driver side steering wheel airbag, driver knee airbag, and left roof curtain airbag. The airbag in the seat did not deploy. The headliner has some small tears. It does not have any suspension damage. All of the wheels and tires look great. This car runs and lot drives. I would not recommend driving on the road with the front damaged. I bought this car from Enterprise Car Rental in its present condition. I bought it to resell. I do not have an estimate to repair. I do have clean and clear Alabama title on this car. I have tried to list everything damaged on this car and show all damage in pictures, But with any damaged vehicle some things could be over looked. You are welcome and encouraged to come by and inspect. I do have for sale locally and do reserve the right to end early. Please view my feedback and email any questions. Thank you for viewing my auctions! |

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor sales jumping to new heights
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Ford can't seem to build F-150 SVT Raptors fast enough. The off-road-ready trucks have been one of the Blue Oval's most reliable sellers, with record sales in eight of the last 10 months and a 14-percent jump in 2013. That's impressive enough, considering that the least expensive Raptor starts at $44,000. Factor in the modded F-150's fuel economy (it's rated at 11 miles per gallon in the city and 16 on the highway) and a national average gas price, as of this writing, of $3.55 per gallon, and its success is as unlikely as Ford's home team, the Detroit Lions, winning the Super Bowl this year (sorry, Lions fans, we're just quoting the experts in Vegas...).
Yet for some reason, Raptors spend an average of just 15 days on dealer lots before being snapped up, which is a quarter of the 60-day industry average. According to Ford's truck group marketing manager, Doug Scott, it's capability that keeps the Raptor selling strong. "What's helping drive Raptor sales is that Raptor delivers unmatched off-road performance to our customers. Raptor is also proof of our commitment to offer a truck for every customer and continuously improving them to meet our customers' evolving needs."
To address the strong demand for Raptors, Ford will bump production from three trucks per hour to five. Not much, we agree. But building an extra 48 trucks per day, at most, seems like a prudent way of addressing demand without oversaturating what is ultimately a niche market. Check out the press release below for more.

Focus ST diesel variant coming, just don't look for it here
Fri, 07 Mar 2014A few years back, Volkswagen made some waves when it announced the Golf GTD - a diesel-powered car that, aside from its ultra-efficient, ultra-torquey engine, was identical to the gas-powered GTI. That meant cosseting sport seats, larger wheels, sportier suspension, larger brakes and a body kit that made the GTD indistinguishable from the GTI, except for the three little letters on the back and in the grille.
Now, Ford is looking to replicate VW's success, with a diesel version of the Focus ST. According to Motor Trend, the diesel-powered ST will use a 2.0-liter, 182-horsepower four-cylinder. With an unspecified amount of torque on offer (we'd guess around 280 pound-feet), the diesel hot hatch should hit 62 miles per hour in about eight seconds.
The report, which originally comes from Auto Express, claims the ST Diesel was confirmed by Ford Chief Marketing Officer Mark Fields during this week's Geneva Motor Show. Not surprisingly, it doesn't appear there are any plans to bring a diesel-powered Focus of any kind to the US, let alone one that uses the suspension, steering and other items from the ST. Of course, if there's an official confirmation from Ford, we'll be sure to report on it.
