Seller Comments
This was our show-car in 2010 and 2011 and it has upgrades and extras. It has 100% leather seats with Alcantara suede inserts and door panels, a two-tone paint job, paint protection system and more.  We are the original owner and have the clean title.  There is nothing wrong with this car, we build show cars every year and have a couple of new ones.  Enjoy this wonderful car that gets great gas mileage, is super comfortable and looks great.  I personally wish our new cars had the back up camera, these extremely comfortable seats and this kind of mileage!

The factory wheels and tires are like new and just put back on.  I can offer the 20 x 7.5 inch custom painted to match wheels, see pics. These wheels are great for the Fusion hybrid, they are not big wide wheels, so you don't loose gas mileage. I've averaged about 37 mpg with the 20 inch wheels.   If you want to lower it, I have the Eibach springs for it and the 20 inch wheels. The tires are worn.  NOTE:  I have those items for sale on ebay as well.  If you buy the car, I will give you the springs and wheels FREE!

It has a real carbon fiber (pre-pregnated material, autoclaved and clearcoated) front lip splitter and rocker panel extensions. The rear wing on the trunk is also real carbon fiber. The vehicle was painted with House of Color charcoal forest green with a green metal flake pearl. The bright green highlight is also House of Color apple green pearl. The car also has a paint protection clear bra by 3M on the hood, front bumper and side mirrors.

It also has window visors to keep the rain out or keep it cool in the summer, but can easily be taken off. Also the exterior chrome trim was replaced with new factory pieces that were "anthracite chromed". The original regular chrome ones were stored in a box and come with the car.

The sound system is a SONY amplifier, separates in the doors and rear deck SONY speakers. The head unit has Bluetooth to connect to your phone so you can have "Hands Free" calling, texting and GPS through the car. The headlights have been updated with a HID System, providing better light than the factory halogen lights. All maintenance and factory updates have been done at Chino Hills Ford and they are familiar with the vehicle. We started with a fully loaded hybrid.

A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, All records, Custom paint/graphics, Custom wheels, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, No accidents, One owner, Satellite radio, Very clean interior, Well maintained. Call or email with any questions.

Why Edmunds took a sledgehammer to its 2015 Ford F-150

Tue, Jan 27 2015

The discussion around repair bills for the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 pickup continued from the beginning of last year to the end, and haven't abated; as an aside, some Tesla Model S owners have been shocked at disquieting repair estimates for minor damage to their aluminum wunder-sedans. Edmunds decided to inject some fact into the fray: it bought a $52,000 long-term 2015 F-150 and clouted it with an eight-pound sledgehammer. Twice. The rear of the bedside took the impacts since it couldn't be replaced, it would have to be repaired. To the pickup's credit, the only reason associate editor Travis Langness hit it twice was that the first sledgehammer blow didn't do as much damage as Edmunds wanted. After the second, the visible damage included the two direct impacts, a few creases, and a cracked taillight, so they drove the pickup to Santa Monica Ford to get an estimate, complete with a fictitious story about how the damage occurred and the mercy plea that Langness was paying for the repair out-of-pocket. In Part 2 Langness hits on some of the details with getting the truck fixed, such as the massively expensive taillight and the list of tools Ford recommends dealers have to work on aluminum. But he was promised he'd have his truck back in seven days, and Santa Monica Ford got it back to him in seven days. In Part 3 we get the bill. It's not small, but it's quite a bit less than it could have been if the service manager had charged Edmunds the official labor rate for aluminum. We're not going to spoil it here, so check out the videos above and below for the beginning and the end, and head over to Edmunds for the complete story about how it all happened and some riffing on the repair numbers. Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with

Mon, 12 May 2014

Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.
