I am selling my 2012 Ford Focus because I am making a bigger purchase and need to get rid of this payment. That is the only reason I am selling. This is the SFE which was rated at 40mpg's on the highway vs. the normal SE that was rated at 38mpg's due to the louvres on the front that close at higher speeds for increased fuel economy. I average 36-38 mpg's in this car city and highway mixed (slightly less in winter due to the winter blend of gas). I am a fanatic about my cars so this one is very clean with no issues. If you do run into issues, no problem, you have Ford's top of the line warranty good until 04/2018 or 100k miles and is currently at 43,xxx miles. This is as close to the bumper to bumper warranty as you can get. I purchased this directly from the dealer when I bought the car new. I will pay the transfer fee if you pay the asking price (or really really close to it). It has the Ford sync so you can access your tunes or phone hands free. I added cruise control and the very expensive weather guard floor mats front and rear. I also have the factory front carpeted floor mats, no rear floor mats came with the vehicle new. I am a non-smoker.

USPS releases hot rod stamps to speed up your delivery

After one of the worst winters in recent memory for much of the country, summer is finally here. It's time to drop the top, open the sunroof or at least put down the windows and take a long drive. The United States Postal Service is celebrating the season's sun in automotive style with two new hot rod Forever stamps.
Both stamps depict classic '32 Ford hot rods. One shows the car from the front at a low angle in red (pictured above), while the other depicts the car from the back in black with flames running down the side.
To introduce the new stamps on their first day of availability, the USPS went straight to the source at the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. They were unveiled by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, Car Crazy host Barry Meguiar and NSRA Special Events Director Jerry Kennedy.

Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey

According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US.
